I absolutely do not understand the hate jimny got for something it never promised to be…it is a purpose built off-roader at a cost…the 1.5 engine is modified to have hardware to last off road abuse…the gearbox has to be robust to withstand torque requirement…the jimny is absolutely a gem of a car…like other good Maruti Suzuki perhaps we will realise it after it is gone.
It is more reliable aswell and has tons of options in terms of modification as it is global product and will not put a hole in your pocket while exploring places and is great for those who wants to explore places and avoids 4wd vehicle due to maintenance cost and drivability so it's a great first no nonsense 4x4 for sure. And people in India they always go for cult following instead of looking the product quality and they cry when products gets discontinued from market in the end.😅
@@IndianGymBro ah i was expecting a comment like this soon enough…if you know about cars you should be having the knowledge of ladder frame chassis…a differential…a prop shaft…a transfer case…well brother if you do not these are mechanical parts that cost quiet a bit…tell me what does thar has to offer being a three door car that it costs upwards of 20 lakhs…size aside jimny is quiet a package…and even the size is of quiet a use…yes it is overpriced…but the blame of contemplating it as a cheap car lies on these youtubers and media person that simply judged it in terms of price…and well brother as for the suzuki salesman i do not own jimny or thar for that matter…i own a scorpio gateway 4*4…we are a group of car enthusiasts who like to discover trails and explore the road less travelled…it feels bad when a product fails when we fail to understand it…while the jimny might nit be a sales blockbuster which i do not mind but the arguments against it is more hate logic….but anyways…cheers brother…vehicles like these are not meant for everyone anyways.
@@IndianGymBroWhat do you want in 17.5 Lakhs on road? The Top end model which is a lakh cheaper than Thar, is much more loaded compared to Thar interms of both safety and comfort features. Speaking of practicality, the Thars insane width, longer length and size do NOT help with its space considering the fact that two tall adults are not comfortable in the second row while in Jimny, they can sit there and still have a usable boot which the Thar doesn't have. The Thar is also infamous for alot of quality issues related to suspension, clutch, hard top leak, electronical nggles etc. while the Jimny being a suzuki as ever, will out live even the next gen Thar. The only thing that the Thar sensibly and clearly wins over Jimny is robust built quality and engine performance. Jimny also has the better ride quality and also offers offroad advantages with better articulation thanks to front and rear solid axles. A tyre Upgrade without suspension change can be done which will easily uplift its performance unlike Thar whose wheels scathe the front wheels wall under heavy articulation. Try harder Suzuki hater.

Bhai power is more in Jimny.. you will have to switch off traction control manually .. on putting 4x4 low traction control auto matically cut off.. but in 2wd and 4x4 high u have to manually switch off traction control..
