I have the same lt80, not sure if it’s the carb but most likely I ran it with too much oil in the gas mixture and it clogged, a new carb is 20$, would it be easier to just replace it?
I guess you were pre mixing then? It’s a relatively easy job to strip the carb down and clean out the jets might save yourself a couple of pounds if you put a little more time into it
@@AllTheGear-SomeIdea I did it today using your video but when I put the throttle sleeve back in I only got half throttle and the first half is no resistance and the second half is where I feel the cable grabbing, I tried putting the sleeve as much in there as possible and I also tried adjusting the cable to get tighter but it isn’t like before I removed the carb
The carb end of the throttle cable has a guide slit that sits on a pin inside the carb make sure this is lined up otherwise the throttle piece on the end of the cable won’t go into the carb all the way causing you to have no resistance on the cable because it’s effectively holding the throttle piece up inside the carb. It’s hard to explain but hopefully you can grasp what we’re trying to say 😅

@@AllTheGear-SomeIdea I thought I did get it in all the way, the first time it wasn’t in all the way but this time it sits in there good, could it possibly be that the needle isn’t sitting right or something? Just hard to shove it in when it’s not wanting to go more
