Let's talk about the "Sustainable Marine Fuel" powering our 780-mile voyage from Jacksonville, FL, to Washington, D.C.
It's better known as "EcoGen90" by VP Racings. It is a potential replacement for Rec90 fuel and has many incredible benefits, including:
♻️ The fuel is made of up to 10% renewable content
♻️ It has a very low water affinity
♻️ Reduces tailpipe pollutant emissions
♻️ Reduces carbon emissions
♻️ It's easier on engine components because it does not contain ethanol
♻️ Improves fuel economy
♻️ No additional infrastructure to use the fuel
With all these benefits, Suzuki had to get our hands on it to give it a proper real-world test. VP Racing has already completed countless hours of testing with this fuel, but we cannot wait to share our findings with this excellent fuel source.
