I like booth a lot, I was waiting for the 8r and finally come true. A bit of disappointment too because none of them have cornering abs... The 1000gt looks very very nice, I'm not interested in that segment but I may reconsidered
So, modern medium-class sport bikes are like 200cc more and 20hp less than similar bikes of 30 years ago! And I guess we call this progress, as long as they have less emissions. Also, Suzuki must earn an award of having a meaningless acronym for every single technological feature they put in their bikes.
An old gsx s1000gt with half a fairing copied from the Honda crossrunner, a 3 year old hayabusa with new paint and a hairdryer twin supposed to be a sportsbike and er v-stroms. Suzuki really are going down the Conservative route and really have shyed away from their racing history. Don't think I'll be bothering with this lot any time soon.
