This is so helpful. I just moved to the southwestern coast of Costa Rica, got an 89 samurai. She’s a beast, I have to drive 30mins on a dirt road across multiple rivers just to get into town. Excited to have this baby as a project, thanks for the help
low rider thank you. Yeah soon as I realized how versatile they are I had to have one. Freaking incredible the abuse they will take. she will definitely be making some more appearances
This was super helpful, I am the same height as you and planing to buy a samurai soon, awesome to see someone of the same height in one. Thanks from Australia.
Cool Samurai! You got my subscribe! I Love the samurais and also build one now! If you got some time check my samurai also please! Just got Spring over lift, winch and more to come! Keep up the good work!
Able to share more details on the seat mod(s)? I drove a girlfriend’s nearly 30 years ago and I remember there being A LOT desired in the legroom dept. I have been looking at SxS’s but ran across a few of these which led to 🤔 Simple as unbolt, scoot back and drill/refasten ? Any floor contours that wouldn’t allow for the seats to move back? Thanks for any info you can share!
Sxs have way better suspension if you’re planning on sand or terrain where speed/momentum are key then I’d lean towards a sxs but for squeezing through tough spots and just doodling around they are fun as heck. Pretty much like a bigger rough riding go cart. I did a pretty quick and easy no adjustment setup. It’s a thrasher that does very little highway driving so just bolted seats as far back and low as I could get them.
I could listen to you all day talking about the Suzuki Samurai, but you could be talking about anything and that would be fine by me. Thank you for that magnificent definition. 😂😊🤍
