This video brought so much sadness to me.😓 I bought a Suzuki Swift GL AMT as my first car last week Thursday. On the morning of Easter Good Friday, I was supposed to drive about 320km from where I work, to my home. Then, when I was left with about 70km to get home. I suddenly lost control of the car and overturned and rolled with me inside. I survived the car accident, I came out with a few scratches and body pains but the car sustained major damages. It's literally gone bafethu. The car is insured, but the insurance doesn't cover the credit shortfall, so if they write it off. Then I will be paying for a car that I don't have. It's my first car and I only had it for less than 24 hours😓 My Family didn't even get to see the car. Yeah, this video reminded me of my car. I have not healed from what happened to me and my car.
Hi I also Feel Your Pain bra I just bought mine last week tuesday and it arrived at my place later that day, the next morning while i was taking my fiance to work we had an accident while the robots were off due to Loadshedding the front bumper was damaged on the left and also the left fender, i am still in shock even right may God Be with You brother something better is coming to our lives, stay Blessed
At this point we should just be grateful that you made it out of the accident alive. I know quite a number of people who have been through the same ordeal and I hope you find strength to move on from the trauma you just experienced...SORRY man.

The costs involved, the payment methods, in what circumstances should you consider taking it, the benefits and if it's worth it? I don't know if there's such a thing as extended warranty and maintenance plan but if you could shed some light there as well. Thank you, your work is great!

With the windscreen matter R750 is still cheaper than the R1000 you paid plus with the way the system is set up, cold drinks are always cheaper than the tickets (R200 maybe)
The audio setup sounds nice and you should think about accompanying your pioneer speakers with a Pioneer headunit. i have one and it really improves the sound quality immensely, plus many of them have a 13 channel equaliser with custom settings and listening position tuning to better allow you to fine tune what you want to hear and where. Even better if you get one of the avh or nex(if you want android auto)units you can better utilize that subwoofer.
It seems to be limited to certain dealerships. I service my suzuki at Helderberg and they have never offered or requested extra work. I have done 2 services thus far. They have also done 2 warranty repairs on my baleno (1 for paint and 1 for uneven brake wear) and provided a courtesy car. Some dealerships are okay to deal with provided you show them you not up for any nonsense or bad service.
sometimes its the "DR" muzi problem.Dealers know how utterly ignorant most are in the medical field if one says Doc there's an issues automatic answer is fix it no questions, titles .

About the Extended service plan. I bought a Starlet last year exactly at 45k km. To extend service plan they quoted R 4.6k for the 60k km. I said no. I checked I can still extend it on the App and the price is the same. Interestingly though, when I just book a service it only amounted to R 2k. And I've checked my 75k km service will be R 1k compared to R5k + if I extend service plan. So it turns out extending is more expensive in my case. More than double. I want to hear other people's opinions/experiences

Those VW idiots wanted to charge me R1450 for wipers during my service. I politely said no and bought myself Bosch wipers for R450 and installed them in 2 minutes. I knew my wipers were already finished I just wasn’t going to pay a ridiculous price for them. The Bosch wipers are much quieter and better than the Valeo wipers VW use.
Just Got My GL Tuesday and on Wednesday morning i had an accident, I am so hurt by now i am waiting for my claim to be approved by the insurance hopefully because I am not the one who caused the accident, its still drivable though its just the bumper and side fender which are damaged
I tried claiming on my scratch and dent (when i bought my previous Toyota) and they came back to say the max you can claim per incident is R4500 (its never enough… surprise), read the t’s and C’s - Scratch & Dent IS A SCAM - never again :)

Hi Musi I'm stuck between a rock and a hard surface between a swift and a baleno. It's a car I want to purchase for my daughter. However I'm leaning towards a baleno because of the 1.5 vs 1.2 cc of the swift. Fuel is not my concern but performance is, I think 1.2 may have a power lag. The out of service maintenance is not a concern as I'm mechanically inclined and I do my own maintenance on my other vehicles out of plans. What do you think I should go for, I'm considering the CVT transmission though.
