Good review, couldn't agree more about the price - the 2018 models are now getting torwards 12k with 20-30k miles on the clock and seem like good value
Good all round review. Nice to see a manual hybrid. Video would have been better without the fast shaky smartphone camera footage and too close cutaways.
Nice , interesting review without much time spent on boring stuff like interior features such as cup holders. Although its pricey, the reliability will save you much more in the long term compared to a ford or a vw. The ecoboost engine is not a reliable unit by any measure. In the USA the fiesta was black listed by consumers reports magazine. In contrast, Suzuki has done very well on What Car?reliability surveys in UK .
why everyone claims the acceleration went down? the given times are only with the petrol engine alone. together with the electric motor the acceleration is mostly the same!
@@BrownCarGuy then you need to look at their numbers better. I bought one and can attest for the fact that Suzuki does not take into account the hybrid motor because they are providing worse case scenario numbers (if the hybrid battery is empty)
The ford fiesta doesn't come with the many options the swift comes with. If you spec them to about the same level the ford costs around 3-4k more than the Suzuki...
I really like the Swift Sport but I am having trouble getting my head around the fact it is more expensive but less powerful than the previous non hybrid version.
@@nickgurney9279 they do not. I took mine to the Dyno and it made around 142 HP. (The older model would make around 150 HP because Suzuki understates the figures) but nothing a small tune can't change
