Riding with the loved child is always so rewarding and we do it as often we can :)
Last week i took a 4 day motorcycle trip with my daughter, Adia.
Our Suzuki V-Strom 250 took to visit a few waterfall, a cave, some lakes and a unique tree in Romania: Sequoia Gigantea.

Amazing footage. I was researching on the V-Strom 250 when I stumbled upon your videos. It looks super capable! I have a fondness for bikes that are "just right", not "bigger the better". It looks like 250cc really is the sweet spot.

That was a lovely video. Thanks for sharing it. It's great that your daughter wants to travel with you. Theses videos will be priceless in years to come when you look back. The camping site looked great, but I'd fear that the wind would blow the tent off 😀. I say this all the time when I watch your videos, but you really do live in a beautiful country. I just change my bike. I had one vstrom 250 like your's, good bike but a little short for long rides... I love my 650 v-strom but I still miss that litle one 😁. Good rides, be safe... Keep it coming👌

Beautiful trip. Does the rest of the family plan to ride a motorcycle too? Note: Better use a full face helmet or a modular one (closed during the ride) for a full coverage protection.

Thanks ! The girls are enjoying the rides only as pillions, no plans for driving licence (at least regarding my wife) :) The helmet was there first choice ( my wife is claustrophobic and tells me that she chokes in a full-face helmet:)) Best regards from Romania !

Hi Jorge ! I ride with 120km/h when i have the opportunity but not constantly on long rides. The engine is a revy one and at 120km/h you have 9200 rpm My max was 136km/h on speedo. I suggest a drive test with the bike to see what is capable of. Best regards !

What is the 250 like with a passenger? It looks like the handling becomes pretty light.

Hi Casper ! It is ok if your expectations are realistic. You can obviously feel a lack of power on the climbs, but i am perfectly fine with it. In the end is a 250...:) I prefer the positive aspect of being very predictable and not violent in reaction. The handling is very good, but i am riding super safe when i have my daughter or my wife as pillion :) Best regards !

Have you thought about buying better suspension or smallere sprocket rear, to get rpm lower? Have you reached 30.000 km now?

Hi Kim ! I a well over 30.000 km ( i have to check exactly tomorrow). I changed the chain kit and because i didn't find the original rear sprocket i put a 36 tooth one. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rJuujJme2hw.html Regarding the suspension, i am ok with it. Maybe next year i will do a oil & simmering change for the fork.

How many tooth are new spocket front and rear? Original is i think 14/47. Are you satisfayed with liwer rpm which is at 80 kmh? 6 th gear

Which program for your fine videos? Gopro and which free program?

For editing i use Final Cut Pro X but any free video editor is just fine. Regarding the cameras, I have a love/hate relation wit Gopro Just a week ago, my Gopro 8 Black died :) Now i use mainly Gopro 7 Black & Gopro 10. Best regards from Romania !

Hi ! Yes, the V-Strom DL250 has a 12V outlet situated in the left side of the instrument cluster. I have a 12V - 2x USB Adapter for charging my phone and Gopro batteries simultaneously. Best regards
