I got a suzuki intruder volusia 800 2004 with a crooked handlebar, I was considering replacing the handlebar but now I think I can maybe play with the risers a bit from seeing your vid. You answered all of my questions and this is a great instructional video to actually see the parts in action and order of operation. The only question I have now is basically size/length bars to get? The stock volusia 2004 bars (like the ones in your vid) are a little low and I have to lean forward, I'd rather lean back and middle-height vs high/low. Thanks much BCB!
I'd like to restyle my Volusia to look more like the M800 as was thinking it cutting the repositioning the plastic mudguards; front and back. Any advice?
I put these Avon grips on my new ape hangers and the throttle grip is too tight to pull back and forth with ease. Should I sand the throttle grip side on the handlebars or could I use lacquer thinner to remove the paint? Thank you
