When Christopher said "Everything!" when you asked him what he is looking for in the outdoor store was the most expressive thing I've ever heard from him! 😄 Loved it!

@@kaycee625 Can't wait to see you try to make yourself heard by the camera mic as you're walking around doing daily things. She plans out the vlogs beforehand, knows what info is important to get out to make the vlogs interesting, sometimes you catch glimpses of just normal short convo before they snap back into the 'vlog' mode and in those instances they both speak at their normal low volume to eachother. I haven't seen her speak OVER him anywhere, they seem very respectful to eachother. On top of that, Cecilia is vlogging, it's her thing. When you're not doing the editing and when you're not in-tune with the setup and how well mics catch the audio and all that, which I assume is what Cecilia's part is, it's hard to tell. While filming on a set you have the people behind the cameras tell you exactly how loud to be, because they can hear it back the way it feeds into the tech, and then ask you to adjust. And jst not wanting to be loud or if that's not your nature is perfectly normal too! Boy people really like nitpicking

@ydorri2460 only winter months are without sun hence 'polar night'. Summer is 'polar day' 24 hour sun. You guys really need to watch her videos or research!

All business owners take advantage of this when they can because It just makes your tax payments much more manageable and less intense. It’s kind of like girl math in that way. However if she got a sponsorship for this video, then it is actually “free”, which good for her if it that’s the case!
I think there is a difference between filming/vlogging and the rest of the work being a RU-vidr has to do - editing, networking, I don't know what else. It'd be the same thing as taking pictures; just documenting life.

Haha that was the same as my fiancé and I in California. We went there for a vacation last month, and we are from Northern Canada. People were walking around in winter coats and it was 18 degrees Celsius! We were in tank tops!

I love the access to food and different types of restaurants ... Then she goes 3 times to the same café! 🤣 It is very noisy in Cities, you numb it out with time but it is! That's why I love your Svalbard videos! 5 cars a week 🤣 the same one road to the house and the same super market... It is so comforting! Maybe I'm just old but after living in London (like you!) and Paris... I crave the peace and quiet!
So much fun watching how you do vacations. You are still you, but in a totally different setting. Nothing can bring down your energy! One of the things I also love about the cold is no bugs! They are awful! I am looking forward to seeing you back home next week!

1:30 I spent most of my life in a very quiet place where my family home is, and then, when I grew up and moved into the town, I have the hardest time to get used to the noise and I'm just counting down days when I can finally afford my own home out there near a forest somewhere. And I am NOT even living in some big city or a busy neigbourhood. I just love the silence.
Me too. I grew up on a quiet farm in the Texas Panhandle, but when I went to college I had to adjust to a noisy dorm and then a noisy apartment. I did NOT go well. Now that I’m married we live in a house in town, (we couldn’t afford a farm house and the price of the property) and even though it’s not as noisy as a dorm or apartment it’s still a lot! I haven’t lived on a quiet farm since 2007 but I still crave that stillness. I still visit my parents and soak in the silence occasionally. If I could just pick up my house and move it to the middle of nowhere I would!

As much as people harp on the people and culture of Florida, it's such a nice relief from the cold winters. Even if its only temporary it recharges your batteries. Jealous from Atlantic Canada lol
Don't let the media shape your view of Florida. I'm 4th generation Floridian. It's a very diverse State, and most people are hard working and friendly. We're also 3rd most populated State now only over last 3 decades or so. About 1000 people move here everyday. Florida man stories are mostly those who recently moved here, not generational population.

Lololol! The raccoons! Here at work we like to call them “Trash Pandas”. Edit: visit us further north in Florida at Cape Canaveral. You can kayak and see manatees in Manatee Cove, visit the Space Center and maybe catch a rocket launch, too.
I love that when you two are on vacation you truly relax and go with the flow not rushing around and over booking yourselves with must sees. That is how my husband and I take our vacations. True relaxation and just enjoying your surroundings ❤
Watching Cecelia pack up guns to stroll near polar bears and traverse polar canyons without fear and then seeing her genuinely fear racoons and spiders in contrast is so funny to me!
