I like the way you said ''peasant'' for emphasis lol. Being in the UK this knife has been on my radar for a few years as it's unusual for a number of reasons, being a non-locker but not a slipjoint (so UK legal) but designed in such a way that the blade won't close when in use; also for being from New Zealand which is cool. I've slowed right down on knife purchases this year, just a Swisschamp, Ruike mini and a Mora fixed blade, and been more focussed on quality handtools, but feeling the itch again when looking at the Svord Peasant mini with the wooden handle. The only reservation I have about this is what you mentioned others are concerned about, that of it accidentally opening in the pocket, which could be nasty, so I'd have to carry it in some kind of slip or sheath for peace of mind.
