~SPOILERS~ This is Jaesa Willsaam's storyline during the Sith Warrior campaign. This is being played with the point of view of a Light Sith. Jaesa is one of few SW:TOR companions who are influenced based on the player's alignment. Jaesa is voiced by Rachael Leigh Cook.
Warning: She is NOT a romance option if she joins you as a light-side companion. There are other videos floating around that show scenes of Jaesa-Dark and her romance. I, personally, do not like her dark-side version. She is repulsive and does not hold a candle to a heart-felt romance like Ashara's, Vette's, or Kira's.
If you liked Jaesa's light-side story and wished that she was a fully romanceable option (Light and Dark), please go to the Star Wars: The Old Republic Official forum and let your voice be known! Remember that talking about her is a big spoiler to many and to use the "spoilers" forum for elaboration.

I wish there was an option to pull out a Pazaak deck. Karr: "No, I'm sure you're just here to play Pazaak." Sith: "Oh, do you play, too?" *Produces deck* Karr: *confusion and stunned silence* "Are...are you mocking me, Sith?" Sith: "No, I just appreciate a good game of cards every now and again. It breaks the monotony of constant violence." Karr: "I...am at a loss for words, Sith. But you still will not have Jaesa." Later, as Karr is about to start the duel... watching light side sith playthrus just makes you realize the empire would have never lost if the sith were reasonable and not cartoonishly evil in the current stories. Like most people would agree with a rational sith, and they don't even know it because all siths are bat shit insane.

I feel the alignment system in this game is a bit of a failure, I made a Sith Warrior who would make decisions that make the Empire stronger, the Empire is evil with practices such as slavery not to mention they are ruled by a council of very evil Sith and the most evil being in the galaxy the emperor. So if I decide to not kill a group of scientists so they will join the empire in making weapons for the empire I shouldn't get a light-sided boost yet I do. Many situations like this to me don't make much sense.

...and that's why the Republic survived on for a few thousand more years without changing, and the reconstituted Sith Empire didn't. If everyone in the Sith Empire is blindly murdering, sabotaging, and harming one another, the system will collapse, and it will collapse _hard_.

It's not failure. You read "not to kill the group" and press it to make an allies. Another player press this because of mercy. The same words and different meaning for different players. Bioware can't predict your motivations, nobody can. So you can't call it a failure.

It's actually pretty cool playing light side like this, you get to be just as manipulative as dark side and you use the Jedi Code against them instead of senselessly murdering everyone you meet. Thanks for the vids and keep it up!

This is the best Jaesa, she's at her most pure and can still be a comfort to even a dark side Sith Warrior. The contrast is great to play off of. My SW is full dark side and he married light side Jaesa, at last. The wait was worth it.

What i love about this is it shows 3 things. 1: The sith way is to be free above all else, a light sith might be the most free of all, free of the rules of the jedi but also free of the corruption and endless greed caused by the dark side. 2: Many jedi are infact hypocrites, Particularly the masters. 3: While 2 is true, it also shows how endless conflicts can make people forget themselves. Some of the jedi don't believe you, not because they don't believe in peace, but likely because any time a sith has said that, if they have ever said that, it has been a lie.

I must say, you not choosing the pure good dialogue in the first Jaesa dialogue makes so much more sense. There are Baras's Imperial troopers in the room and yet the Wrath just fucking confesses to being a traitor if you do the pure goodie-goodie thing. This is so much better.

Honestly, light side Sith seems boring. The thing that i love most about the sith warrior history is the constant oportunity to twist the Jedi morals againt and for me the dark side end of chapter 1 is just perfect. I admit that going 100% dark side option is just stupid but the same to going 100% light and forgiving all those future enemies that could cause you or other empire trouble. I prefer to go 85% dark side until rank IV (red eyes!) chosing light side only where the option seems smart or the dark side was stupid.....sometimes i go for the neutral option (when i have) because neither one convince me .

@@eivorofthenorth Agreed. I just started playing yesterday. I'm playing with my own mind up backstory and history for the character. He's vicious to his enemies, but seeks diplomacy to those who are willing to talk. Turned the assassin over to Imperial intelligence, gave the sith a death in combat, and let the ex-forger go free, because my character believed that it was the right thing to do. Helped the Jedi escape and told him of the information he was given was a trap. However, should someone raise their blade at him, he will not show mercy nor let them live after. Well mainly any sith that do.

ive seen the darkside way to recruit jaesa and i only wish you could do the "strike me down" thing and tell her to kill her master without making her evil or dark side balanced or however the hell that works. i dont wanna be light but i dont wanna be dark either but i got a feeling jaesa plays a huge roll in how you turn out dark or light

@Dragonstorm62190 blue and green are restricted to characters in the light side, and orange and red are restricted to the dark side. You can use an opposing crystal if you were able to equip it before you hit the restriction, but other then that you can't equip crystals of the opposing alignment's colors like that. I think only certain ones are restricted right now though, although I could be wrong. As for why he's blue, he's obviously not playing as a dark sider.

@firestarter320 I remember that announcement, but they never gave a time frame. It could be six months, a year, two years, or more. I just feel people are getting their hopes up if they think BIoware's going to deliver on the announcement within a year or two. They knew they weren't going to include it come launch and the male protagonist romances have so much more going for them than the female protagonist romances. If there was any clue that they'd include same-gender, I'm not seeing it.

You guys are thinking too much into this. My choices were not canon. These were choices made in Beta (hence the date of the video). I was playing a "moderate/neutral" force user. He wielded dark side power, and light side reason. To him, Darth Baras was just another conformed Sith Lord in a realm where wrong is right. Is it dumb to talk back to him? Probably, but Baras needed me just as I needed him. That was the only "bond".

Light side Sith Warrior is awesome. A truly "Light" sith is a clear thinker who doesn't believe in wanton cruelty. I look at them as more grey than light actually. :P They believe in power and strength, but not from the corruption of the dark side. Its a really interesting story line.

In RP, you can't think in hindsight. Imagine my character "Hmm.. send him to my master, or send him to Tython and lie to my super-calculating, powerful, and manipulative master?" I doubt my character would be like "Meh.. I'll get away with it!" My character was thinking self-preservation over mercy.

@FabianRinna Funny you mention it. I was actually trying to see what triggered Jaesa from Dark to Light. I figured if I mixed dark actions with Light, I would get to make the ultimate choice in Hutt. This was beta and mainly for research purposes. What it came down to is the actions made to her former master and her parents. Everything else didn't matter.

About my "light" actions, they aren't undertaken just for the sake of my morals, it's also because quite frequently, it's done out of pragmatism. If I treat people under Sith rule and even neutrals decently, they're more likely to be loyal to the Empire AND it discredits what the Republic and the Jedi say about the Sith Empire. My Sith Warrior characters see that discrediting the enemy's as important as killing them.

I just played through this and thought darkside Jaesea was the only option and didnt want lightside points so I told her to embrqace the dark side and now she is just s creepy senseless killer. I hate it. I wish I could go back and change but im already on chapter 2.

Sith for life, Jedi don’t even live.. For a Dark lord of the Sith I actually pick plenty of LS options, but hardly this much.. playing as Sith especially as a bounty-hunter you see the blatant arrogance of the Jedi..Either way I told Jaesa to execute Noman
