I worked at a restaurant in a country club here in Fl that had a fire. The sprinklers didnt even go off until we pulled the fire alarm. Im GUESSING the fire wasn't hot enough to trigger them. Only reason im saying this is bc a lot of ppl say that the story is fake bc the sprinklers went off. Maybe it's a state thing in case the fire doesn't trigger them, you can with the fire alarm.

For those who don't know about the ice & the deep frier thing, if you add water to hot oil it ignites and you get a fire

I heard about this on the news. Would Swagger happen to be from Arizona? Because this made the news one day YEARS back

The reason she listened to him was because he was able to convince her that he held a position of authority over her. In her head she thought "he's a person of authority, I should listen to him" and then proceeded to do everything he said unless he said otherwise (the ice in the deep fryer)

I work in fire protection and fire systems, pulling a fire alarm will never set off fire sprinklers. They have a bulb in the center of the sprinkler that melts when it reaches a certain temp, which then releases the water

Look up the video from, Inside Edition, called "Why this Prank Makes Burger King Employees Smash Out Windows." They have a recording of the call, and everything pans out pretty much the exact same way as this story. I think it's the same guy that Swagger was describing too.

I worked at Denny’s in a neighbouring city at this time! Head office sent out memos to staff not to break windows if the fire department calls! We all laughed at how stupid you would need to be to just do that. Found out a ur later about what happened. They ended up using the original prank call uploaded on RU-vid as a training bit during the general managers conference! Angela was not fired. It was shocking how far she complied! And thank god they stopped themselves when the one guy said to throw ice in the friers! That was beyond too far! The prank happened at Denny’s in West Edmonton Alberta!

Fire Departments inspect every commercial building every year for pass-fail test.

This sounds fake, as sprinklers are not set off by the fire alarm. They are instead set off when a small piece of heat sensitive metal inside the sprinkler itself gets too hot. This allows the sprinklers to only go off where a fire is located, preventing unnecessary water damage as well as not needing electricity to properly function. If this where real, the only result would be the alarm sounding. Funny story though.

Worst story I heard of about a prank call was my friend. He told me he called a McDonald's and said " hey I'm in the bathroom with no toilet paper" and the worker says " what" " I'm in the men's bathroom with no toilet paper, I don't wanna open the stall so could you toss it over the stall" and the person who took the call said " sure". After a couple minutes the person got back on the phone line just to ask " before I hang up, what the fuck is wrong with you?". Worst prank call I did was call a pizza hut in New York. If it's not obvious I asked for a boneless pizza, and it was definitely new York because immediately the person who answered said " can you suck my dick"
