In case you didn’t know Mar is not a gildedguy original character but based on a real person. If my understanding is correct Mar was an animator and moderator for the Hyuns Dojo RU-vid page. However one day a controversy regarding Mar came to light that left a permanent scar on Mar’s reputation. The intensity and validity of the controversy are things I do not know, all I heard is that the controversy had to do with potential child grooming. Another thing I heard is that after the controversy came to light Mar regardless of his guilt or innocence decided to burn all of his social media bridges. In this video Mars dragon form can be seen as a manifestation of his controversy and shame, the woman with gold that ended up killing Mar could be a representation of the child he potential groomed, and his death and aftermath is him cutting off all internet contact.

justa lil correction, Mar was a RHG character like Andre (think the name of the artist was Barthimo), its not a characetr made for the animation, though it is used here to show gildedguy's point of view on the whole situation. Also, pretty sure the guilt is fully confirmed. barthimo to my knowledge didnt deny the allegations nor tried to find excuses for what he did, he just removed himself from the internet instead willingly from here. And its what Gilded's video is about: Barthimo (as mar) realising he's a monster and neither liking nor justifying it, but also unable to get rid of the urges even though he tries. And meanwhile, the difference between those like Gilded that want to help them overcome all this, and those that just condemn him for what he did, with neither shown as being fully right or wrong, and with both having a thing in common: the dragon HAS to go away for good.
