Is there a way to be more natural sound when 6 instruments play together? It needs to have one kind of Swing for little micro-tempo differences appears and to fell more "human" play. If not, it could be a great implement for future updates.
You can play double notes. These instruments are "real" can do all that can be played in a real instrument. So is impossibile to play chords in a cello or violin etc... you need to think to play a real instrument when you play SWAM instruments.
Strings are definitely the most difficult section to model, I think Sample Modeling did a good job but the sound is not quite there yet, maybe for layering with samples for more tricky passages, on its own I can't really see it. Maybe within the next decade we'll see something closer to the real thing in terms of tone and acoustics like what Acoustic Samples has managed to do with their Brass and Winds libraries, but as of now this still sounds like a synth
You will never be able to duplicate a live strings you can come close but there’s nothing like the real thing!!! We will never be satisfied searching for the best midi strings!!! If you have the budget hire your own personal orchestra to get the sound!!! Ijs🤷🏽♂️
@@Bashanvibe The holy grial of strings is something every sample company has tried and failed to achieve, despite the great advances in recent years, maybe this new era of AI could help with such task. Perhaps it can be achieved by using sampling audio modeling and IA together.
@@AGDugros argh. That's actually kind of annoying on SWAM's part... they use images of this package displayed on an iPad screen in their material..... And it's not actually available for iPad.... 😐. Maybe it's on their roadmap,.... But either way, I would not do it that way if I were them as it gives the wrong impression.
SWAM Solo instruments are available for iOS. SWAM String Sections are available only for desktop. I can’t find any ads showing the sections on iOS devices.
