Let us offer our salutations to Sri Ramakrishna the embodiment of all religions, who came to integrate all religions of the world.
Let us pray to him to lead us from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge, from the unreal to the real, from death to immortality. Peace, peace, peace be unto all.
ॐ भद्रं कर्णेभिः शृणुयाम देवाः । भद्रं पश्येमाक्षभिर्यजत्राः ।
स्थिरैरङ्गैस्तुष्टुवागँसस्तनूभिः ।व्यशेम देवहितं यदायूः ।
Om, May we hear with our Ears what is Auspicious, O Devas, May we see with our Eyes what is Auspicious, O Yajatraa, May we Live with Contentment with Strong Body and Limbs. May we Praise the God and sing His Glories during our Lifespan Allotted to us by the Devas,
स्वस्ति न इन्द्रो वृद्धश्रवाः । स्वस्ति नः पूषा विश्ववेदाः ।
स्वस्ति नस्ताक्षर्यो अरिष्टनेमिः।स्वस्ति नो वृहस्पतिर्दधातु ॥ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥
May Lord Indra of Great Fame increase our Well-Being and Prosperity, May Lord Pusha, who is All-Knowing, bless us with Well-Being and Prosperity, May Lord Taakssarya (Garuda), who is the Protector, bless us with Well-Being and Prosperity, May Lord Brihaspati also Bless us with Well-Being and Prosperity, Om Peace, Peace, Peace.
Amritabindu Upanishad - Minor Upanishad:
मनो हि दिविधं प्रोक्तं शुद्धं चासुद्धमेव च अशुद्धं कामसंकल्पं शुद्धं कामविवर्जितम । १ ।
Mind is of two kinds, pure and impure. The impure mind is possessed of desire; the pure mind is free from desire.
मन एव मनुष्याणां कारणं बन्धमोक्षयोः बन्धाय विसयासक्तं मुक्तं निर्विषयं स्मृतं । २ ।
Mind alone is the cause for people’s bondage and liberation. When attached to objects, it leads to bondage. When free from objects, it leads to liberation.
