Sri Swami Sivananda did had full realisation of Para Brahman. He was a pure jivanmukta. He did saw the Lord everywhere. Sarvam khalvidam Brahma. But still fromout pure devotion he did puja, .... . It is fromout pure love for the Lord. It is easy to say some Vedantic words but do you have realisation. Sri Swami Sivannada did had that full realisation.
Bahut bahut sundar! Oh how I love Sri Swami Sivananda. Such a great master he is! If one truly desires to realize the Self, then serious study of Sri Swami Sivananda's work and living in heart centered consciousness is an excellent path to take. Doing so, the serious sadhak can reach pure ecstatic bliss! Jai Shiv Shambhu!
BTW, yes, I know he is now in eternal samadhi, but he still remains a great master always. Death is but an illusion, we are all eternal beings! Aum Tat Sat!
Blessed we are indeed to registered our life at the holy feet of Gurudev Swami Sivananda and Gurumaharaj Swami Chidananda. May we all strive to dwell in His divine Presence always.
thanx a zillion pleaz upload more videos of swami shivananda. I remember when i was 8or 9yrs myparents took us to rishikesh to his Ashram . which is still there. My wish is tht i should stay in tht Ashram and learn more and more..... about myself but this can come true only with. the Guru"s grace. i strongly feel i will with my guru's grace.
Hi SidhartKaul, Do you have maybe the whole film, which is in part here in color? I wonder which is the year. It's about that european-look-like person in a shirt with green stripes, which appears here in between 3:26 and 4:40 (in parts). He looks like Leszek Szymanski, polish writer and editor, who visited Shri Sivananda in 1958 or 1959. ok! since u know what he did to reach enlightenment,do u know how he did it in terms of reaching enlightenment? then if he did so, y is he wearing flowers and vibutis on his forehead? does this helps to reach enlightenment?is this the way to reach it?
It takes a yogi to know another. First, please become a Hindu, practise its teachings, be humble, restrain yourself from shooting off your mouth. Before you give me a certificate qualify yourself to be a worthy, practising Hindu.
Vikneshwaran93, Oh yes, how true that 'God is within'! But have YOU realised it? Parroting 'Aham Brahmasmi' won't help! If so, a common parrot can become enlightened the INSTANCE it utters it. Swami Sivananda, up till his last days, did puja and japa: but He HAD known that God was within. So was Swami Yog: but He HAD known that God was within. A-mayi, Ramana, Amma--and EVERY swamiji in the video has NOT decried puja, chanting, idol worship, etc! But you do!
Of course I know, otherwise, I won't commit myself here. It is not the external that stand in the way of enlightenment. He had his internals taken care of, hence, what he had on without did not affect Him. This basic fact should have been known even to a little Hindu, Please learn about Hinduism.
