You're right. Leeches will appear on your screen if one of the animals gets it. I think either the one you're riding or the one on your shoulder. So could have been the Jerboa or the T-rex or maybe the Thorny dragon. You can just jump on the mounts and check the debuffs on approach em and check for the "Remove leech" prompt and the radial menu (holding E)
@@ShePlaysIt you dont have to hold the animal on your shoulder to see the leech.. even when the dino is just stting on the ground, you will still have the leech on your screen, until you go up to the dino/jerboa and take it off

I think the leech was on Appsro’s Dino, and it must have stayed on his screen when he hopped off. Made for a great scene still, but I do wonder, does Simon still remember to hold E to remove leech?

tee_LC Honestly, sometimes discovering something on your own is just more fun. Makes for memorable moments. And yes, some game PTSTD. Like that time I found out Alpha Rex can chomp through stone and my base got wrecked..... hmmmyeah, despite having watching all those playthroughs I somehow missed that fact. It makes me mad that they don't even consider a baryonyx tame. That would be a perfect mount for nomadic adventures. Fast on land, great in water, small enough for caves, and fairly strong.
Yeah that situation wasn't the right time to tame a Baryonyx but I absolutely agree they need to tame one or more. They are one of the best dinos to have in my opinion.... But as we all know they don't plan worth a damn when it comes to taming. I get stressed out everytime they go half-assed and try taming like some damn noobs lol
Spinos walk faster one four limbs, and has a weaker bite attack with greater reach. on two legs he is slower but his swipe attack faster and deals more damage, although shorter range than the bite. When you get his feet wet you get a boost to your speed, health regen and damage, it last for 30 seconds when out of the water. might want to play around that
YESSSS, IM EARLY, CANT WAIT TO PLAY THIS MY SELF ON THE 25TH! P.S Being on Spinosaurs hind legs, allows it's swipe to be stronger than it's bite attack, almost twice as strong. So remember, 4 legs(Quadrupedal Pose) for speed, 2 legs(Bipedal Pose) for damage
I love when Neebs points out there is no prompt to remove the leech, while his hud is off. Meaning even if there was one.. he wouldn't be able to see it. 10/10
To whomever rides a spino in the future: when the spino is on 2 legs it's does more damage and does it faster but when it's on all fours it's faster while Sprinting, also it's get a temporary buff when it touches water. Lots of love -Me😘😘😘
At work Wednesday, I had a accident and fell 56 feet out of a cooling tower , broke my spine in 3 different places , 20 staples in the back of my head with a concussion, broke both of my tibias in my legs, blew out both knees, with almost every tendon torn, fractured my left elbow , bruised my ribs, bruised lungs, and internal bleeding in my stomach, I’m Literlly laid up in the hospital bed like a vegetable , not in the best spirits , but your episodes this weekend is what I look forward too, and still can make me laugh no matter how bad it hurts. I really appreciate you guys, and will always stay a fan
I’m kind of liking this. Because the guys are all together and not splitting up all the time. And there has been a lot less death 💀. Some more time with the guys fighting and yelling at each other
When the spino is standing it has higher DPS, but its slower to move, and harder to maneuver. WIth all 4s on the ground, it is faster, but less DPS. Spinos also get a buff when they touch water, I think its over for speed if I remember, but its useful to touch water for even a second to get the buff, which lasts around 20 seconds or so.
When Neebs and Thick found the Bamboo it gave me flashbacks to Andy Biscuits and his penguin problems, if you don’t know what I’m talking abt I highly suggest looking it up.

Loving this series guys. This dynamic is working well living on the edge moving from place to place. The animal set up is great aswell good variety. Appsro needs to realize that’s the Rex is leeched and he has to get on the rex then have someone remove the leech from the Rex to get that leech off his screen
you can go up to the said animal and remove it from their hud/wheel.. and the leech would remove off of appsros vision, he or someone else.. he doesnt have to be on it to do that..
man that was good; i love the dynamic of big and small animals, man I was really afraid one of your mounts would die!!! most other times they seem expendable lol
My issue with a lot of Ark maps, is they make these cool locations and when you go to them and climb the cool cliff or go in the cool cave, there is NOTHING there! No loot. No resources. No point. Just scenery. Kind of wasteful.
Then youd have no base locations. There IS pvp to this game that is easily 4 times of a larger player base than pve players. A blank, flat clean slate is exactly what a pvper wants.
random tip: keep your Spino wet, they get a buff that makes them more powerful when they're in water or have been in water recently the spoon likes to stay in the soup.
When spino’s stand up they are slower but they deal more damage and can turn on the dime when there on all fours they are much faster and trie to travel close to water with spinos when they touch water they get a speed, damage and health regeneration buff so in short stay close to water also stand up and bitch slap people in combat.
Spino "Bite" hits harder; But only hits a target right in front of it. The "Swipe" is more of a wide-coned cleave-like attack; Does a little less damage, but it's whatever is in range.

Have you guy's goten the flying dron yeat? it's a small dron that emits a blue light and talks she can work as a lamp as well in case you're tource break, though the light is not as good as a tource. Edit: It shows up as one of the many items you get when you die, and you can equip the dron in the same slot as the shield, though it do not work as a skin, though you can equip it as one.
If both the campfire, removing it or hitting him with a torch doesnt work, it is most likely the glitch, just log off and on again and it should be gone. This is a known thingy and I’ve had it happen to me as well.

The leech isn't on appsros Dino because he goes from being on the ground to jumping on the paracer, funnily enough I was playing ark before watching this and also got a leech, I don't have an animal on my shoulder, I'm not on a Dino and fire isn't burning it off. Was thinking after dieing might work but looks like maybe not haha but yeah don't know what to do lol
It's odd because in singleplayer I have a base in that lake at the end of the river, and honestly it's fine. How did you get so many waves of dinos ? XD The piranhas in these waters ARE insane though. But I really like this biome and I can't wait to explore it further asap, even though it's a swamp. Honestly a lot of Crystal Isles areas are swampy, and I wish there weren't that many places where you have those mean spawns (also it gets a bit old). There are sarcos probably on a good third of that map ! Sidenote : I'm not sure whether it started this week or in previous episodes, but the added sound effects were very noticeable (for instance the sliding at 11:00 ).
Neebs, the Spino's swipe attack can be used while it's moving, the bite forces the spino to stay still, and the swipe also has increased knockback, to keep enemies away from hitting you while you still hit them
Neebs , When the spino is up on it's hind legs it can turn much tighter.... if i remember the update correctly. on four feet it is faster.(in a straight line)
