#prayforhouston please guys Houston is getting hammered as we speak. Some people we know can't be reached and they're on their roof. The police can't get there cause the roads are like a river and helicopters can't fly cause of the weather. So please guys. Pray for Houston. Thanks for reading this❤️

It's just wind and rain. We get typhoons here in Japan and it's the same thing. Huge quakes and tornadoes? Now that's the scary stuff (we don't get tornadoes...I'm fine with quakes but NO tornadoes).

It depends on the hurricane. I live less than 20 minutes from Bunny and it's been lots of wind and rain and flooding. But nothing awful. We thankfully have good infrastructure to deal with this stuff. Those who got hit directly, though, got really, really bad damage - if you look up photos of Rockport you'll see what I mean.

Sugar Plum Hurricanes here bring tornados. Tbh it is "just" wind and rain but ours are really strong and do a lot of damage. Pictures of Rockport prove that unfortunate fact

Eneri for us it's a big thing because we haven't really gotten any hurricanes that bad, its Texas, and since I live in the RGV, its always hot, so when it rains it's a miracle

It depends on the storm. This comes from someone who went through Katrina, it either be super bad like Katrina or like super tame like Hurricane Issac or Hurricane Gustav. Hurricane Harvey is expected to be pretty bad so hence why a lot of are concerned.

I do couponing for donation and hubby and I took a giant box to the red cross today heading to TX and LA. Just know the country is doing all we can with out getting in anyone's way. I'm on the coast by south Padre island. it was looking bad for us but shifted upwards so we had schools closed and everything like that, and ended up with very little rain. but not far away from us is devastation. it's terrible! it could have very easily been us. I'm praying for my family and friends and everyone affected by Harvey. Bunny I hope you are safe.

Hey Bunny.. hope y'all are safe! I'm just east of Austin, between Bastrop and Cedar Creek. So far we've had around 25 inches of rain and it's still falling. All the roads around us are flooded and closed, our road is flooded.. so, we're stuck until this thing gives up! My bff's mom lives in Porter and my niece, who's 8 months pregnant lives in Schertz. Im not that far from bunny & we are UNDERWATER like literally, water has risen up to street signs here. It's flooded everywhere, houses are full of water & people are using boats to get around.
