Great message Bobby and you hit the nail on the head about folks having formed strong opinions but have no knowledge. I point squarely at schools and families for not getting the whole message to the kids on so many things. Bobby I was born and raised in NW Alabama where I still live. Right out of high school I went to work in the log woods that belonged to my mother's family. I'm 56 now. Mom did all the bookwork for the lumber company. My dad owner operator trucked all his life. Drove until he was 83. He and Mom are both still with us. Bobby I think you have the best show on RU-vid. I watched your every show when you were on TV. I know it's tough to work and film clips together but there are alot of us out here who love your show/footage. I'm asking for me and I know thousands more for you to try to put us more videos on. They are serious and the real deal. I really appreciate and enjoy the ones you get posted. I grew up in the woods. My dad ran a chipper plant in the UP OF MICHIGAN. I became a health professional. Wish I stayed with the wood. You boys are doing great work. My skidder on the 40 I owned was a Honda trx300 4x4.

Lumber prices are so high here in Arkansas I bought my own sawmill to cut my own boards. I also have over a hundred acres of timber 20 year old pines and no one will cut it because they can’t break even! Hope you find away to keep going! God bless you and your crew. I’ve worked as a contractor in fire camps here in California. The service we provided was really a place the firefighters were able to sit and wait for their turn for a shower after 24 hours on duty. I would listen to the firefighters talk about the crazy things they were seeing the fire doing, it was unpredictable at times. They would say that forest management was needed or it would be worse every year.

I really enjoy watching the videos and sometimes I learn things that I either wasn't sure of or I just didn't know about tree's and other things too. God bless and stay safe y'all

Hi Bobby I have watch your videos on and off for a while. I’m from the North and I’m familiar with cable logging (old school). I couldn’t agree with your comments about “this isn’t deforestation”. When the last crop planted is a building lot it’s deforestation. You can tell your men care about each other and you this says a lot about you and the way you run your company.

Viewer from England, I've always enjoyed watching swamp loggers. It's nice to watch normal hard working people instead of so called celebrities and you seem to be a decent hard worker person. As for the destroying the trees, it doesn't make sense as without the trees you don't have any work in the future. Keep up the good work all you guys and girls. Jp.

I drove a skidder back in the late 80s early 90s. It had choker cables instead of a grabler. It was a 540 John Deere I think. It’s been a long time. It was one of the hardest jobs I ever done as far as physical labor. I done it 5 years. It’s not lazy man’s work for sure. It wasn’t any money it for just a driver back then. I don’t know about now. I moved on something else. I still tell stories about the steep hillsides I had the skidder on. Choking logs in waste deep water. The ground bees tearing my butt up.

Praying for you guys during these difficult times

Back in the middle 1960s my Dad paneled the Den of our home with Pecky Cypress, it was beautiful. My Dad special ordered the the Pecky Cypress from a Friend that owned a lumber company. When the delivery truck driver brought the material to the house, he told my Dad, "Sir, I don't know why them people sold you that lumber, it has holes all in it." My Dad explained that he had ordered the material and what he planned on doing with it. The Driver said, "Oh no, that can't be." My Dad told him that he would be delivering more material in the future and that he would change his mind about the Pecky Cypress and it's use. Sure enough, the Driver did come back and he was absolutely surprised and agreed that the final results were Beautiful. Thanks Bobby

Really good point about responsible harvesting and replanting of the trees. Trees are a CO2 sponge, if they die and rot all the CO2 is released. If the tree is used for products it doesn’t release CO2 unless destroyed. Appreciate all your work. Thanks

Bobby your absolutely right about the Forest growing back on it.s own just like after a fire it comes in thicker then ticks on a dog but you are right about a strip mall a tree will never grow again great job bobby to you and your crew and I'm sure that most the wood you get is turned into paper some lumber thank you be safe Frank Corbin

The 865, 875, 880, and 890 shovel loaders are hard to beat. Awesome power and hydraulic system. I met the tigercat engineer that designed these machines. He engineered the Madill loaders when they were in business too. Nice machine though. Have to take your boots off before you get in the cab.

It’s nice to see a crew like Bobby’s giving thanks to God for all of His blessings, and giving God the glory for our earth.
