Remember when his dad used to tell him to do all kinds of craziness and that boy stepped up every single time like an angel was on his shoulder. I honestly thought his dad was trying to get him killed. I could only imagine the number of prayers that went up on his behalf

I only ate alligator once, but it tasted great, and I wish it was available around the whole country. I dove into an Oklahoma lake once , and swam out 6 ft from a copperhead, and never went back. Stay safe!

Reading some of these comments and people don’t understand their life style and how they live their life. 😅 they don’t understand that some things are a waste of money. Because you have the luxury of getting whatever you want when you want. Respect for this guy big time but also respect for the people who live off the land, which is not easy but it’s also a great way of life. Keep up the work and stay strong brotha!

I know this is an old video but Willie should of had a plastic bottle tied on the end of his rope so the end of his rope would float and then he could get ahold of the rope again

Willie, u should hv a wider boat. It's best to mount a pedestal with a 16,000pounds hoist bcoz u work alone. N better wear a pair of gd glove. Cheers mate ....

got a question swamp folks...i heard Willie talking about the "land owners">>>>???...I know that in everything it is always about the $$$$'s......so, is Willie saying that the "land owners" get a CUT of what the gators are sold for????....MAN!!!!....I also watch the videos of Most Dangerous Catches in the Alaskan waters and listen to the Capt's talk to the "owners" about weather conditions, etc....the captains and crew are the ones taking ALLLL the chances, and the men running those boats are taking all the chances.,,,,,,the $$$$;s should REMAIN with the Captains of the boats...ALL of the $$$$'s not just a portion of them.......

A word of encouragement for our work we love it’s not like work sometimes because we do what we Love. About the alligator 🐊 any wise man that understands a barbaric dangerous type of work as you do. Realize that the work you do is your meant for you not everyone can lest God be with Him. Many men do dangerous work like a Line man hooks power to towns after storms. Liz wears tape on some of her fingers; and I believe one of the Indian guys wore gloves without the fingers. Gloves just makes sense even if you have to get custom-made gloves so that they're vented leather with padded rubber palms with metal fingertips -- whatever The point is proper protection
