Drone video with thermal imaging of the Swampscott microForest. Created by a team of volunteers in May 2022, this Miyawaki forest is already deeply impacting the heat island effect in this neighborhood. Temperatures are more than 50 degrees cooler in the forest than surrounding pavement and lawn.
