Glenn Oropeza a there's no shortage of gators these days down here in southern Louisiana. They were overfished years ago and rightfully became protected wildlife. Today the numbers are higher than ever and are carefully maintained to keep the numbers down. I'm all for preservation and want to see where I call home remain useable for my kids and theirs etc. these boats are safe and necessary to maintain lakes and bayous and to fish/farm/work for things we all use everyday, including the oil fields all the way down to fishing. If these types of boats were unavailable it would require lager vessels which means dredging and all that goes with it. These men in the video grew up here and most have fished the bayous their whole life to earn wages for raising a family, that makes them keenly aware of and the need to keep our wetlands healthy and I assure you they dont take it lightly.
