Over the weekend of the 22nd to 24th March 2024, the Swanage held their Spring event, which turned out to be a Victorian Weekend. Courtesy of the Bluebell Railway, the sole surviving SECR O1 No.65 was the star visitor of the gala. LSWR T3 563 supported the event as the fellow sole surviving Victorian locomotive. 31806 and 34028, "Eddystone", supported the event to boost services. 3 sets were operated, however one of them was the railway's Class 117 DMU, due to a carriage shortage, the set was a faster service which went non-stop from Swanage to Corfe, the respective locomotives were towing it.
