I saw them during Glowing Man Tour. I remember seeing in comments to make sure to bring ear plugs. I tried not wearing them but I couldn’t last more than 20 seconds hahaha my body was vibrating the whole time
You need to keep this in a safe box wrapped in devotional robes . In years to come it will have the same value medieval monks attached to parts of the cross, or the bones of saints
wow they sound insanely good. Sad we didn't get to hear more from Leaving Meaning, it would have been great to see What is This and It's Coming It's Real live, but I can't complain because the entire set is awesome.
Did they happen to play either.. "Frankie M" or "The Glowing Man" by any chance? We're Thinking about going to see them in Brighton later this year. Our favourite album is "The Glowing Man" and we found the album "leaving meaning" a little bit short and disappointing in comparison. But, i might he swayed by the volume! Not so sure about my wife and best friend though yet. .
swans keep their setlist consistent during their tours. sadly neither of those songs are in it. the setlist is pretty much exclusive to leaving meaning + the beggar
They only play a short bit of Cloud Of Unknowing live on this tour. They play a bunch of songs from Leaving Meaning (Cathedrals Of Heaven and The Hanging Man) and the rest is only from the new album The Beggar. However, I saw them live in May and it was probably the best thing that I've experienced in my whole life. The volume and the intensity were unreal, the songs were louder, noisier and in my opinion way better than the studio versions. Please go to see them, trust me. You won't regret it later
@@lorenzo_paiano_ I agree, their glowing man tour was already jaw dropping but I like their newest direction even more. The live shows are vastly different from the latest album
The Beggar is a bit too indulgent 30 minutes of the same thing. Sure the instrumental swells are cool, but when they do it every 2 minutes it loses some epic ness.
I agree with you on some level. I love every second of this performance of that song, and maybe that makes me insane, but its length of repetitiveness holds me back from showing it to most people I know lmao.
