In this video I interview Ken Shingleton, former operations officer for the Weston Region to discuss the history of the many train stations that were once in Swansea.
I ask him why there were so many train stations during the 19th and 20th century and why they’re gone today.
I love making these vidoes as it gives the opportunity for people like Ken to tell their story and allows people like me to appreciate how our country once looked. Whether that be from a cultural perspective, the landscapes or just how society has changed.
I hope you enjoy this video!
