How old were you when you started at swansea? I wanna transfer into first or second year being older than other people in those years since I've already done 2 years at a US university, was it any different being older/having previous uni experience?

I was 22! I wouldn’t worry about that at all, I actually love that I’m older and wouldn’t have changed it for the world! Definitely go for it :)

I also want to study criminology. I'm 17 now and I've wanted to study it since I was 13. Is it worth it? Like I'm torn between 2, if i stay in SA i get to be with my bf but I've wanted to go to Swansea since i could remember. Then again I'm in love with Swansea. I follow about every single social media platform, and surfing is something i really want to learn. Sorry I'm ranting but it feels nice to talk about it with someone who lives there. Btw is their shark diving there? Thank you, if you read this, for taking out a lart of your time for me. Love your videos

Ah that’s amazing!! I say always follow your heart :) Swansea definatley is the place to be if you want to learn to surf that’s for you- the surf club is really fun! And no there isn’t I don’t think! It’s very rare a shark turns up here!

So you have two degrees now? Cause I'm just finishing Law and I'm really thinking of it to get a second degree and I was thinking criminology or psychology, but I'm thinking that maybe it's a waste of time or I'll forget what I have been taught. How was it for you?

Nope! Just one. I only did the first year so didn’t get the full degree. And no way, I would always recommend learning more! You can never learn too much! I remember all my graphic design still but now have built on it with an entirely new subject which I love!

Yes, it should be :) there’s a big section on the Swansea Uni website for international students, but everything should be the same except visas.

Hi, there’s two Facebook pages called ‘Student Accomodation in Swansea, UK’ and ‘Overheard at Swansea Unoversity’- you could always post saying you are looking for housemates ☺️ lots of people do this and it works really well!

Iv lived in Swansea for 54 years it is one of the safest cities anywhere in the world. The biggest problem is speeding cars and motor bikes just watch the roads. I walked through Swansea at 3 am and taken short cuts through cemetery's council estates parks all hours of the morning and I have been completely safe. Ofcourse you get the odd person causing trouble and you do get people on drugs and drink but my experience is they tent to leave you alone. Swansea is a peninsular you can't escape by going south or east or west the only way out is north so if you commit a serious crime the police will catch you. In the last 30 years there has only been 2 murder's in Swansea were the victim didn't know the attacker most murders in Wales are committed by people who know each other eg husband and wife boyfriend and girlfriend so on. There is more murder's in London in one day than Wales gets in 2 years. On average there are about 8 murder's in Wales a year. Murder's by someone who doesn't know the attacker 0. Swansea is extremely safe place to live

3:53 THIS IS WRONG. Bus rides take at least 25 mins, sometimes 50. Be prepared to wait for up to an hour.

Ah my bad! I thought it was a bit shorter. I remember my housemates who studied on bay saying it didn’t take long at all but I guess things could have changed since then as it was a few years ago ☺️

I also used to know lots of people who cycled it in about 20 mins which I guess avoids traffic and bus queues!
