Swansea v New Zealand at St Helen's ground, Swansea on Saturday 14th December 1963. The All Blacks won this match by 16 - 9, Swansea full-back Dai Parkhouse kicking all Swansea's points (2 penalties and a drop goal). For New Zealand, flanker David Graham scored two tries as did wing Malcolm Dick. Full-back McFarlane Herewini converted both. Swansea were within two points of the All Blacks with just a couple of minutes to go. Through his brave tackling and deadly kicking, the match was known as "Dai Parkhouse's Match".
