@@CrazyDavey23 I just discovered the game through CaseOh's playthrough. Honestly, I think the biggest reason why I like mutant MJ is because she's kinda based. I mean, she will literally just go off on her own if you don't feed her before/after scavenges. Let's be real, the *ONLY* real reason she seems to stay is low key because she has still some sort of bond with her family, NOT because of survival... or even to get fed? She usually collects enough food that it's kinda implied that she'd probably be better fed on her own, plus she never seems to come back as worse than "hungry". I have some fan theories related to mutant MJ: 1. Despite what the journal says, she doesn't actually die out there. That statement is just from the perspective of her family who either doesn't know better or is in denial. Realistically, there's no reason why she would die out there as she isn't hurt by the environment and can always find food... 2. The reason she runs when she isn't fed for scavenges is either because she feels as if she's a burden to the rest of the family or she feels like the lack of food shows underappreciation somehow. Either way, it's less about the food and more about her relationship with the rest of her family. In fact, this might not even originally stem from the mutation as she's kinda ify about this even in her normal form. She kinda just expects to be fed after scavenging regardless of mutation or not, so maybe it's the feeling of underappreciation. 3. While all her family hears and sees is gibberish and growling, she's actually still thinking completely coherently and might be frustrated that nobody else understands her! It is interesting that even her written messages have this weird dialect going on, it's not too different from the mutant roaches.... Which also clearly try to communicate to the close-minded family. 4. Since MJ was never really all that socially.... normal... perhaps some of the "odd" behaviors the family sees are simply just frustration or sadness as opposed to radiation-induced "insanity". She not actually THAT different mentally, but since she cannot properly communicate, interact, or really do anything for them but get supplies she goes into intense emotional meltdowns. With that said, regular MJ is kinda mid stat wise (really prone to going insane) but oddly charming with her goofy tuba and somewhat angsty attitude.

Plus, he basically stays insane if he's the only one left... Which means that he *will actively make you lose* if he's the only one there. Look, I respect the fact that he's a sweet, caring father.. but does talking to a possibly demonic sock and then getting death by running away really sound like something they would have wanted after they went? xD
