Swathi Kiranam all songs by Vani Jayaram madam extremely difficult for today's singers& many cannot sing even one minute in that high clarity pitch include Shivani Bhavani, Vaishnavi Bargavi, Telimanchu Karigindi, Pranathi Pranathi etc. to know that level.

Though Chitra is a highly accomplished singer, Vani Jayaram is outstanding. Her classical skills shines like a diamond with million cuts. RIP , you have given us a lot.
Interesting fact came today to me -- Janaki amma sang in Sankarabaranam and Chitra Amma sang in Swatikrinam, but Vani amma won national award best singer for both moveis!
U r correct. Nobody can beat Vani ma pure classical or raga based songs. All her 3 national awards are for classical songs from the movies focused on classical music. In national award winning songs list, her 3 songs stands tall and she is the only singer to win that award for very difficult songs. Other singers have at least 1 award for simple song (given just for namesake).
I don't know telugu. Still I listen daily without fail. Such a beautiful voice of the legends. Both chitra Amma and Vani Amma.... We are very blessed ,🙏🙏🙏

Magith thambi no singer can match vani amma at higher pitches. It is the other way you said. Only other singers voice screech at higher pitches. Not Vani amma. She is a legend. The only singer to produce boldness, rhythm and sweetness at the same time
