The small letter identification is Marthastaayee I. e., Base note and Capital letter identification is dhaarasthaayee I. e., Upper note. This theory even a child can understand. Ignore and omit any other alternative suggestions in this mam.

For mentioning a note as a note in higher octave, an * mark (ostrich mark) can be made in the right side of the note. For mentioning a note as a note in lower octave, the *mark can be made in the left side of the note. It is my humble suggestion.

You can type the entire notes in Azhagi software in tamil and then paste it along with the video when you upload it and also place the dots in appropriate positions on the notes in MS Word when you format the Azhagi file. I think this will work out.
