Well... criminals won't stay at one spot for at least a day. They are on the constant move, not sitting ducks (At least that's what I think.) Plus, if they are extremely dangerous, then they are extremely smart too, meaning they wouldn't just appear out of the house with guns blazing when they are literally surrounded by a SWAT Force. They will most likely take the fight in the house, where they know the architecture, rooms, and other open spaces where they could easily open up on officers that don't know the interior of the room they are engaging in.
