Don’t think this an accurate portrayal of Veer Savarkar’s. He was a poet at heart,revolutionary by vision and pragmatist by nature. His aura was of a very intelligent person but not a teeth clenching menacing physical presence as shown here. His original speeches are available on you tube. How difficult is it to reference them? Honestly Bollywood is too one dimensional to capture his personality and persona.But Randeep Hooda is a good actor,ill suited for the role( Savarkar was 5’2” tall) but hopefully he makes it worth watching.

No critics and big youtubers are reviewing or hyping the trailer😂 and they called themselves movie lovers 😂

Trailer looks good and movie looks extremely well made too. Also the movie is produced and directed by Randeep Hooda and he is in the lead role too which shows this project could be close to his heart. Hoping he can do justice to the movie as well. Also Congress was exposed in the trailer which was a good thing, especially the line "aapne kabhi socha hai Congress ke kisi member ko Kalapani ki saza kyu nahi hui". That line made me excited to watch the movie and I will watch it in 1st or 2nd day itself

Even I was wondering the whole time what negative detail I missed that you didn’t, while looking at the trailer Cos you have a better insight than most of us. Was it the reference to Mussolini? Seems to be a "value" production (direction, production all matching intl. standards for a biopic) BUT didn't get the late 19th and early 20th century vibes. As someone who has stayed in Mumbai since the 90's with my Grandparents having stayed here since the 40's/50's , the humble, simplicity-filled climate along with strong faith/vishwaas/aastha in Sanatana Dharma - all those things, didn't feel it from the film.... Truly concerned if they will portray Swantrata Senani Shri Veer Savarkar ji in the correct manner ....... the trailer seems to characterize him as a "goon/thug" against british. The same way Subhash Chandra Bose ji was shown in that series enacted by Rajkummar Rao - Bose : Dead/Alive. These productions fail to capture the environment of Bharat at the time, the simplicity of the characters and the humility. _Edit :_ People tend to hate trailer reviews/opinions like this because most have been infatuated with either Bollywood or regional film industries since youth. They feel anything positive, such as a "good production", must immediately be celebrated. Little do they know of the "subtleties" involved in film making and how ideologies are sown into the minds of the public. The trailer truly doesn't reveal anything. One has to see the film to comprehend what the writer and director wanted to show. That is the trick they use to draw publicity. Requesting all to be thoughtful and careful while watching, reviewing films.
