Terra Moons was the first indie brands I started buying from and I LOVE her metallics/cosmic chameleons and some of the iridescent shades and her neon formula is bomb too
Same here. Sydney Grace and Terra Moons were the two I purchased from to dip my toe into the indie brand world because I hadn’t purchased from anyone other than MakeupGeek! Now it’s a full on love story and in most cases I own the entire inventory specific brands offer. It’s like once I find the formulas that work for me, I stick to it.
I purchased 7 shadows during their pre-order for black Friday and my favorite is hands down Orion's belt! I recently ordered 25 more of their regular shadows and just Friday during their most recent new release I ordered 16 more. It's fair to say they are my favorite special indie brand. I bought 4 Terra Moons shadows this year and I really love them all. I will definitely buy more, but it’s so hard to choose colors! I have MoonLily, then 3 you don’t have - Tipsy Mermaid (suggestion from Angelica), Grapetini, and Meteorite. I’m not much of a makeup artist, but I always like the way these shades look, with a minimum of fuss. I just get immediate gratification.

Im waiting on my 1st purchase from them because of you. You do so much for them I think they should absolutely do a collab with you where you are able to create your own eye shadow palette. I hope this is my most favorite purchase I've ever made. I splurged on myself for my birthday. I had always said that 80 to a $150 is really really expensive for an eyeshadow palette yet I spent $80 on, I don't know how many singles but not that many but it's nice to know that Ill love every shade or hopefully. A lot of the chameleons look very very similar so this video is very helpful I'm literally writing down every shade I want to get eventually well if they are still available.
“These are the greens!” When the first one I can see the green in, is Space baby which was 6 shades in 😂 Love how they look so different on camera vs in real life! I think you should get a mirror when searching shadows like these and multichromes and stuff and put it in front of you so we can see it from your POV once you’ve finished the arm of swatches! :)

I've watched this video so many times and I'm convinced that one could dupe Shroud's neon pastels with a combination of Terra Moon's pastels and lighter neons. Could you possibly do a video on this? Or even a video on the best indie pastels, including singles?

That palette is sooooooo satisfying to look at! I haven't tried terramoon yet but they are on my hit list. I did dip my toes into some devinah. Loved them! Terramoon is next. You are also why I picked up prismatic on JDGlow...and good gawd is my favorite silver type shadow ever.

As always, your comparison swatches are very helpful! I think the colorshifts would show up better if you changed the lighting. Just so some shadow (not direct light) is on one side. Or maybe like your friend, Angelica, does at the end of her swatches.

I was surprised you didn't have Tiny Dancer in your blues, it's a pretty light blue shimmer shifty type shade. One of the first I bought from TM. I didn't even think about them for mattes, good to know their matte quality is good too since SG was wiped out on their deeper matte shades. It's very helpful to see the shades swatched out like this for comparison to one another. The descriptions & lack of good swatches on most indie sites makes it difficult when looking for specific colors. I've seen " medium olive green " or " medium warm brown" given as a shade description for multiple different colors & it wasn't that helpful. Neither were the swatches in terrible lighting or complete lack of swatches altogether. So thank you. It's easier to search for a shadow if you know what the brand calls it.
do you find that their neon shades work well and don't irritate? anything that doesn't say eye-safe makes me nervous but the swatches you showed are really tempting me!!
Powdered Sugar is a metallic iridescent shade. I use it over matte shadows to create a shimmer when I'm missing something in mg collection. The best combo I've found ha been powdered sugar over the teal in the killer pur. Its so good.
Yes--this--exactly. I used to hate those sheer "topper" shades in palettes because I thought they kind of deceived me but now I kinda like layering them over mattes to get different looks. This is one of those shades for sure.
