This is my 10th day on the Path. I started in Seaton late in the morning and did go via a private yachting ground. SWCP leads via the streets for the first couple of hundred meters. However, then it went up fairly steep and through the greens of a golf course before I went into the Undercliffs. No escape to the sea or civilation - warning signs indicate 3-4 hours walk. I almost did not see anybody in this section. Lots of cut trees and I was wondering who and how they carry heavy tools like chain saws. Later I met two guys repairing some steps. They have my respect. It takes ages to get there, in the middle of nowhere, to get things done! Of course it was very muddy as it rained the days before.
And I found a plastic bottle and some other can in the middle of the Undercliffs, put them in my bag and disposed them in a litter bin in Lyme Regis.

About me and my charity appeal:
I am doing the SWCP during a sabbatical and started on 22.2.22 (2sDay). I want to walk the complete path (630 miles / 1030 kilometers) and will actively pick plastic bottles and cans which I spot on the path and will bring them to the nearest recycling bin (if not available to an ordinary waste bin). It is a project of heart for me to keep this area of Great Britain clean and safe. Like a paradise (#PERRANDISE). This word is derived from Perran in Cornwall.
