I need to practice my braiding but I can totally do the second one. It might be my go-to style. Add some fancy bobby pin to the bun and it's elevated for business casual work day. Hair hack: put your hair in bun/ponytail then pull out hair around the hairline and tie it back separately. stops me from getting headaches from wearing hair up too much or too tight because the full weight of your hair isnt pulling your forehead.

My hair is so short and smooth and slippery it takes a butterfly flapping its wing in California to make all those strands you pulled out for a casual look come loose spontaneously. I've started doing a hairstyle similar to the first one this week and I usually end up with every bobby pin I own somewhere in my hair, and it still escapes!

I wish I could do those braids on my hair, but, this kind of hairstyles never work for me, and it's not like I got a lot hair, the thing here is that, my hair is really heavy and long, so the hairstyles always end up looking squelch, or disorganized :c

Lucy! I have very long hair, that is semi-coarse, with some wave. In winter, here in PA, if I'm wearing a collared shirt or a coat, my hair always gets snarled at the nape of the neck. Is there any way to minimize this? I don't always want to wear my hair up when I wear collars! Ideas?

I have that length too and pretty thick, easy to do these with a little adaptation/extra bobby pins and hairbands lol! although I have very little hair skills so I rely on ideas like these but cant always get them too look good.
