They sure did. 688 genders, cancel culture, mumble rap, personal stress free spaces, antifa and demonizing anyone that doesn’t agree with them. Yep, sure changed the world
the sample used in this track is also used by four tet in his track 'everything is alright', from the album 'pause'. it took me so long to work out where I had heard this sample before. man, I'm relieved I found it, 'cus I think if I hadn't my head would have exploded. great track by both artists in my opinion. this is the first I've heard of sweatshop union, brilliant lyricism and great track. I will certainly be listening to more from them.
These guys are good. Not the same old lyrics and beats. I love it. I agree with everyone that says Classified is good. I've been listenin to him for a while now, his shit is good.
These guys are sweet. They came to my town and played... I didn't go but my brother did... these guys are AMAZING. Someone in the audience shouted "SMOKE WEED FOR LIFE"... Then the lead singer replied... "Yeah. Smoke weed for life" Can anyone say legendary? LEGENDARY!
This song woke me up. Metaphoricly, that is. Before I heard this, I didn't really care about the world, and after, I step in, and do something when there's inequality.
Exactly. This music is about getting past that and fixing the world. "Understand I can't be free while your still in this prison". That's a whole lotta prisons. Including racism, countryism, and all other forms of hate. If you like this song. If you believe in what they are saying. Then everyone just has to really let go and focus on doing better. As a Canadian speaking to the rest of the world: We are world citizens. Let's be together in our love for the music, and not apart because of country
Learn to tell the difference...Listen to these lyrics. Are you kidding me? - This is exactly the type of rap opposite of all the money/hoes/guns/drugs/cars/ice...This is music. This is amazing.
Yeah all the sweatshop union kickass for snowboarding, skateboarding, BMX whatever.....Sweatshop Union was off my mind for a while and I thought about them 2 days ago he got some of their cds....damn they're good!!! brilliant
I wish there was a higher quality version with the audio properly synced. This song spoke to me the one time i saw it on Much Music and it's a powerful message.
my fav line is "And I could spend my days preaching, so on and so forth, But it won't change, until we don't want to go on, no more" I wonder when that day will come...
Much love y’all Best shows I’ve seen were dickens n juliets castle Sweatshop shows in YYC Smoking up with y’all is a story I always tell people, and all the music is classic.
These guys speak the truth, we cant just sit around and wait.. Theyll pick off every last one of us before we have a chance to say shit, thankfully sweatshop already said all there is to say.
TZMSocialEvolution is bang on. All these problems that Sweatshop beautifully brought to our attention now have a solution. That solution is the Venus Project. Love your work Sweatshop Union
I personally enjoy understanding other peoples perceptions of the music. I often find they noticed something that I missed which makes me enjoy the music even more. Thumbs up for comments!
@marley7303 , I think this is the evolution of Hip-Hop and Rap. With the intellect of the average person constantly advancing I think this is the future of this kind of music... I think this might be before its time,
yea yea these guys are sick! lyrics have meaning and all their songs flow nicely, the lesser know rappers are the best like classefied and dl incognito and so on
