This is extremely educational! Can do a trivia after watching Stockholm video on my commute home in the summer heat! Dude I had to think how I got subscribed to your channel. Must be St Gilles! Enjoying the video's though! Keep on Charleroilling!! Cheers from a Dutchman living in Melbourne Australia

@@helloantoniotraveladventures I enjoyed the insight mate! Just stirring it up on the trivia side! I think he's a great guide! Btw your content deserves way more subscribers/viewers Antonio! The effort, quality and entertainment factor doesn't reflect the stats :-) Likely I make it back to EU in late april for a few months and see you at a St Gillious match! Hope home games are still at the oldschool stadium?
@helloantoniotraveladventures
Cheers, would be great to see you! Yeah, home games in the league and domestic Cup are still at Joseph Marien

Because of the Hansa Stockholm had a German community. To say that it was an official language in Sweden is a bit exaggerated.
@helloantoniotraveladventures
Wikipedia says that in medieval Stockholm, half the population were low German speakers. Guess that doesn't mean it was an official language, though

@@helloantoniotraveladventures No and certainly not in Sweden, as he said in the video. Stockholm was a city in the Hansa trade network. German may have been one of the official languages in Stockholm but it gives the wrong impression to say "we spoke German" because we never did. Swedes spoke Swedish in Stockholm. Germans spoke German. If you visit the Medieval Museum in Stockholm you can find out all about it. It is close to the Royal Castle. It is one of my favourite museums in Stockholm.

Sounds great, I'll pop by next time I'm in Stockholm
