The third goal just showed how bad timing the swedish defenders had. They just forgot to mark Lukaku even if he scored two goals already. Amazing that they let him score totally unmarked.

@@alamprasetyo-hp6ju the point of Lukaku for Belgium is being in the right place at the right time. That's part of the reason why we played so badly in the world cup. It's also a skill knowing where to be. Also the header wasn't that easy.

Revoyez les réactions de Kompany contre le Japon en 2018: il reste planté comme un légume et personne ne va gêner celui qui tire et... marque. Idem contre le Brésil sur le 2-1: il suit le ballon du regard sans esquisser le moindre geste. Non, contre des équipes fortes en attaque, il faut quatre défenseurs. Le seul défenseur irréprochable était Toby Alderweireld. Dommage qu'il soit parti. Il me semble également qu'on est fort ingrat envers Meunier qui a tant apporté à l'équipe nationale.

I hadn't expect such a score. I would have been pleased by just seeing Football from the team again unlike what was shown during the months preceding the world cup and the competition itself, this is very optimistic. Still that major issue with control of midfield, which for some reason, we've "strategically" left and we were quite good holding it before. Fortunately, Sweden didn't make much use of it but we've seen what happens when you give too much room to your adversary there. Anyway, obviously there is room for improvement but bold Tedesco's choices have paid off better than expected, despite the fact that we know Martinez made us loose precious time considering the intergration of the youth in the gameplay.
Belgium played incredible against Croatia but it couldn't finish. That upset me the most. Belgium was indeed capable of top play but they didn't pull it out until Croatia, when it was too late.
In Sweden's defense, they had no idea what players they were going to play against or what the line-up would be. Belgium has a new coach and loads of new players. Belgium had the element of surprise here so let's keep the feet on the ground for now.
This match was seriously one of the strangest i've ever seen. Belgium is obviously the better team. But the amount of times the Swedes slipped, the constant yellow cards, Lindelöf tackle that didn't even connect? Kulusevski getting am elbow in the back of his head and no warnings for it? That's just a few of the things. I'm calling it now, Belgium is going to win the Euro
I can't imagine Bakayoko and Doku in either wings they both look hungry, direct and fearless so Belgium is gonna be stronger they have more good and young players in the wide areas unlike previously where most were old and contented though the defence is still an issue cause i dont think they can withstand faster front players like those of France

Even if the first goal was not counted, it would have been a back play to the keeper: Goalkeepers are allowed to handle the ball if the ball is played back to them by an action other than a kick or throw-in (such as a header), but defenders are not permitted to attempt to use a deliberate trick to pass the ball to the goalkeeper with a part of the body other than the foot to circumvent the rule.
