That smile... pretty sure I smiled the same way.. it's like almost being proud that Abel once again killed it. Like we'd expect anything less lol. His angelic voice with his classic toxicity. The vocals, SHM, the weird video of human type moths feeding off Abel's energy.. or maybe he's feeding off them.. 🤔 He's definitely saying shes drawn to him amd cant help herself despite the dangerous outcome... like moths to a flame. They were a great collab together. I also heard SHMs other recent videos are similar to this one... tied in together maybe?

The Weeknd’s Belong to the World is a masterpiece. The song and video/visuals are complementary. Moth to a Flame song and the video seem like a disconnect. Though, it reminds me of Dante’s Inferno and the circle of lust. A group of people who are wired to a chair-bound and impassive man with dark glasses. What does that have to do with the song which is about a personal relationship? I don’t get it. Can someone can explain that to me?

I actually see plenty of opportunity for symbolic interpretation, that the group is consumed by their list that burns so hot it burns out, leaving them ashen husks at the end. There's a sense of illusion, of self-delusion, dreaming of pleasure while reality years you apart. I think the video is very certainly connected to the song, but it's asking you to explore your own interpretation and find your own meaning instead of spelling it out explicitly.

I almost commented a few days ago, something along the lines of "You guys haven't reacted to The Weeknd's new track?". I figured I'd be patient and wait cause I think I've done that to you guys twice already when the reactions were indeed up. Haha. So glad I didn't cause I found this a little while later on. Idky, I miss all my faves when you drop them. 🤷‍♂️ Onto the next, I always found the pluggy scene reminiscent of Eminem's "Rap God" M/V where he is plugged in very, very similarly.
