The germanic people originate from scandinavia, why do you think germans say "ja" ? 😂 because of they are germanic people lol, only Southern germans are a bit mixt with the celts

It does not. Germanic languages were spoken in Denmark and Sweden long before they spread to most of what is today known as Germany or Austria. But both languages have their roots around the baltic sea coasts, during the nordic bronze ages.

Swedish is easier. Schwedisch ist leichter. Svenska är lättare.

Yes, Swedish and English are closer in syntax and in many basic words. Because in the 400s, English was originally the language of the Angles and Jutes in Denmark, as well as the Low Saxons (today's Platt) in northern Germany. They then got even more nordic influences via the Vikings and the Danelaw in the eastern half of England around the 800s. "Just before" French Vikings (Normands) took over England in 1066 and ruled for 300 years.
