Wow! When I clicked on this video I was thinking "Please don't ruin it!" (as this is one of my favourite songs) but as soon as the video started playing it was the opposite of my first instinct! You totally nailed it! I was blown away especially at the end. WOAH! AMAZING! X

Unfortunately for me, Sweeney Todd is rated R and I'm 13 years old. And whenever I mention it to any of my parents they say I'm not ready for the violence. So I'll wait a few more years to watch it.

Sondheim wanted an almost trance-like, metronomic quality to the first few bars. Remember, this is a man who's been physically and psychologically tortured. You're single-minded in your pursuit of revenge. Your interpretation is a touch quixotic and a little vegetarian. The last line "at last, my arm is complete" should be a blood-curdling cry into the wilderness, not a limp, muted footnote. On the plus side, you both have very nice voices and, although your interpretation was not for me, I did enjoy your tone. Thanks for uploading. :)

Try not to breathe after every 1 or 2 measures as it can cause you to loose even more breath but of course that is what I have learned from my experience and everyone is differentHappy singing!!!!
