I wonder if the steamer in the instant pot might be good? Thank you for your videos. I've been wanting to make bao but could never decide on a recipe. I'll make yours and give you credit when my family raves Thank you

Which one was more ono? Traditional steamer or instapot? Also, you ever make kinpira gobo? I like see!

They both tasted Ono! =) Depends if you like firm or soft. For this recipe I would pick instant pot cuz' it came out firmer. But for manapua I would pick Bamboo steamer. Wow! Kinpira Gobo!? I never tried making it ! Yikes! I gotta call my Aunties! =) Stay Safe!

That was a loooong day for me BUT if I had made the paste the night before it wouldn't have been that bad! I wanted to see how the instant pot would steam. =) 🤙🌺🌈

I’ve never tasted these. What culture or nationality are they from?

Bao in Chinese. The Koreans make something similar. The Japanese version is Anpan, manju, or mochi, But the dough is different. I gotta learn how to make those! I hope this helps! Sorry I talk too much! =)

Janice Morimoto I’d rather you talk too much than not enough lol 😆 It’s nice that you take the time to answer your subscribers questions. Most channel owners don’t, they’re either too busy, or just into it for the money from the views. You’re great!
