#threelions #uefa202 #wembley #Brent #boyfrombrent Sweet Caroline after beating Denmark! UEFA202 Semi-Final England team and supporters singing 8 Jul 2021 England won 2-1
own goal then a penalty... I will be honest... England have to play much better then that, The game last night was like watching paint dry.. I Can't see them winning on Sunday...
Good luck to England on Sunday, from an Irish fan. Analyzing the current English team they have come on in leaps and bounds technically, which can only bode well for all of football in the Home Countries.
A Brit living in Mexico here. Mexico is following the tournament big time and the only Spanish I could understand from the tv commentary on today's game was "historic' and 'its coming home'.
@harry alexandrovich as an American viewer, there aren’t a lot of people watching the Euros here, but I will say viewers have definitely increased. Normally in July we’re watching Major League Baseball and a few people might be watching the MLS or Wimbledon. Plus the Stanley Cup Playoffs (Hockey) got rescheduled to be played from May-July due to COVID, as well as the NBA Playoffs (Basketball), which are both major sporting events in the US
@harry alexandrovich a couple of my friends in the USA are watching and cheering on England (one is a Scot 😳). Football has been growing in the USA for a while give it time and they will realise there is something special about the game and will learn to love it as most of the rest of the planet does. Come on England 🏴✌️
From USA to our ENGLAND FANS ACROSS World ... SWEET CAROLINE !!!!! WE will watching on Sunday from all over the USA from Florida to Hawaii Come on England !!! Good Luck
As an Englishman with mixed heritage that brought me joy reading that. My mum’s mother’s side are Irish and my Dad’s side are Scottish, so as you can guess I’m proud of all that I am, but it saddens me sometimes to see our home nations arguing and insulting each other all the time. Thank you my good man 🤝
Spent some of the happiest years of my life living in Jersey Channel Islands. Lots of great mates from England, I would never cheer against our closest neighbours.
I am from belgium and maybe they will lose from italy but England have stolen my heart and i only would give the win to chelini because that men is just a awesome men at the field so funny hahaha COME ON ENGLAND BRING IT TO YOUR HOME
Neil Diamond must be sat at home with a tear in his eyes watching thousands of fans from thousands of miles away, many not even born when this song was released singing this word for word.. Amazing.. Well done England..
Holy F**k not just overwhelmed by the victory against Denmark but what a feeling the video gives you, its Spine Tingling and gives you goosebumps (thank you for sharing and letting us join in as tho we there)
After what our country has been through due to the pandemic its time to enjoy ourselves. Come on England 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴
@@fergysafc123 the reason everyone hates England is because the fanbase is disgusting and the players are diving. Kane fell everytime he felt a breeze and he got a freekick everytime. The fans from England pointed a laser in Kasper Smeichels eyes before he had to save a penalty and they boo'ed at the Danish national anthem, fucking disgusting behavior!
@@madslauesen8158 All of the England fans I’ve spoken to about the laser pointer incident think it’s absolutely stupid. I agree, I don’t like the way England fans boo the opposition’s national anthems. However, this does happen elsewhere as well. Please don’t think that all England fans are violent, chauvinistic, extreme nationalist cheaters. We’re a footballing nation and most people here support our team so when you talk about England fans, you’re talking about the majority of the country.
57 years for me. In 66 I was in a pram in the sun in my grandparents garden while my dad watched the game on their tiny black and white tv. This time I will watch it with my 2 grown up sons on a 52 inch HD tv with 200w of sound 😊 Come on England 🏴
46 years in the making and the emotions are overwhelming. Never felt this good about the team after decades of disappointment, finally a reason to hold our heads high and come together. 😁😁😁😁
@@hanna-wb3du It’s awful what some fans did, but it wasn’t every England fan, merely a handful of twats out of thousands of decent, football loving supporters. Every nation has nasty people in it, so don’t pigeonhole the entirety of England as such just because of a small few. The England team faced racist abuse from Bulgaria’s fans previously. That was also horrible, and it’s always unfortunate when these things happen. Most of us are decent people, however, and we likewise don’t condone the stupid actions of some people. Both teams played well, England did dominate the game and deserved the win. It’s a shame some didn’t show sportsmanship, but, the majority did and do 🙂
@@dWFnZWVr i know it’s just some stupid people & i definitely wasn’t referring to all of you! sorry if it seemed that way. i’m personally not mad if there’s rivalry or stuff. i just read some bad stuff on here. like i personally was rooting for Denmark bc you kicked us out before but nevertheless you deserved the win bc you were simply better! congrats on that :) i just hate that some people have to attack others on a very personal level. like booing an anthem is just mad disrespectful but i wasn’t trying to generalize. sorry! racist abuse is shit. no one should ever be exposed to that! there is no excuse for such behavior. good luck on sunday & may the best team win🙏🏻
@@hanna-wb3du Well said, I definitely sympathised with the Danish side, particularly given everything that they’ve gone through this tournament. They did play incredibly well, and the lazer pointer as well as the fireworks during the anthem were out of order. I would say though that England fans are notorious for booing during the anthems of other teams, which of course isn’t polite or respectful, but it is also not anything personal. Thankfully for Germany the FA’s warning to English fans not to sing “10 german bombers” actually paid off. It’s been a common theme for them to sing that at England v Germany games. The English definitely take more of a “we don’t care if it offends you” attitude to their chants and booing. It’s honestly expected that we’ll boo during any national anthem that isn’t ours at a football game. Some fans are more rowdy and louder than others when doing so. Any chant or booing is intended more as banter and to be a wind up to our opponents rather than anything malicious. There’s no rivalry between England and Denmark, realistically. It’s pretty much just the Germans and French where we have dedicated WW1/2 chants to tease them with. Everyone else we’ll just switch out the team name and recycle our standard piss-take chants 🙂
@@dWFnZWVr so i’m german myself so i know what kind of rivalry there is in football between our contries. Personally i think booing is stupid, yeah but i don’t get as upset about it like others do. There are many people here who felt very attacked during and after the game against you. Primarily not only for reasons of booing but bc of the whole world war and nazi allusions some stupid people made. It’s still difficult to talk about that topic here but that’s life & football is emotional so 🤷🏻♀️ but anyway i wouldn’t even mind if England wins the euros as long as the game is going to be goal rich and interesting. have a nice day!
@Pax Britannica Ireland euro 2016 were top quality it was gas were the were saying prayers to the nun and called a police woman sexy but this euros yeah England takes it
@Pax Britannica Booing the Danish national anthem. Shining a laser pen at Schmeichel as the penalty was taken. Yeah fucking good fans. Did u know why whole europe hate english fans?
@Pax Britannica one of the many reasons why most of europe will go for italy beating england, the most obnoxious fans in the world by far, thats all youve won and will win
Congrats and well done England you made history and one more push to get that trophy and 55 years of waiting it’s coming to an end and FOOTBALL IS COMING HOME!!
It felt like a final beating germany but now it's real so come on England one more and then it's deffinatly at home. 40 years for me watching and glad so see it in my lifetime and so proud of Gareth and his team.
No one beats the english when its about celebration and chants! You guys should not be sad about 2nd place. It has been a great party! Hearing you guys sing after beating germany made totally up for the loss :-)
Absolutely fantastic scenes after the game. I really felt the emotions watching this on the TV. I won't deny I had been giving up hope of ever seeing England win a major tournament in my lifetime. I never thought I would see the day I'd be watching our national team play in the final of a world cup or Euro tournament. I think the Italians will fear us on Sunday night. Bring 'em on. Football's coming home. 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Where it began I can't begin to knowin' But then I know it's growing strong Was in the spring And spring became the summer Who'd have believed you'd come along Hands touchin' hands Reachin' out Touchin' me Touchin' you Sweet Caroline Good times never seemed so good I've been inclined To believe they never would But now I . . . Look at the night And it don't seem so lonely We fill it up with only two And when I hurt Hurtin' runs off my shoulders How can I hurt when holding you ? Warm touchin' warm Reachin' out Touchin' me Touchin' you Sweet Caroline Good times never seemed so good I've been inclined To believe they never would Oh, no, no
If i am ever feeling like shit again i will just watch this video! 55 Years of hurt and look what it means! Come on Boris and co let wembley be full on sunday.
Sweet Caroline, the unofficial anthem of the Green and White Army (Northern Ireland FC fans), and sang continuously at nearly every game for the past 15 to 20 years.
Goosebumps! At the time and every time i watch this! Soooo good for the country, this singing and celebrating together. We’ve wanted to be for a long time. And now on home turf...this is our best chance. Come on you Lions. Roar your way through the final, bring it home. ⚽️
This is easily in the top 2 the most happiest emotional times in my life, I really hope we can do it on Sunday I would love to be able to turn to my youngest daughter when she's older and tell her "we won the Euros when you was only 1 years old you were 9 years younger than your grandad was when he witnessed England win the world cup"
55 years ago Richard Nixon, Charles Manson, Howard Wilson, The Beatles ("We're More Popular Than Jesus"), Rhodesia, The Moors Murders (Myra Hyndley) and The Krays were all in the news as well of course as a certain team that beat Germany at Wembley, captained by Bobby Moore (Jack Charlton incidentally could not wait for the reception with the Queen and went down to the East End to drink with local West Ham fans).
This is so much more than football fans singing. This signifies the end of Covid, the end of lockdowns, the end of the bullshit. We will never be locked down again. 🏴
@@martinkulkarni3569 I’m sorry for your losses. I didn’t mean to offend. However lives, careers, businesses, families etc have been ruined for a “disease” that mostly killed extremely old people or people with underlying health issues. I know a lot more people who’s lives have been ruined than I know people who have died from Covid. If you actually do some research you’ll find that an extremely small percentage of the deaths were solely due to Covid alone. Most of them were Covid related. So to a fit, healthy, young person who lost everything because of stresses the lockdowns brought, it’s bullshit.
@@MrGazza3 The NHS was almost overrun. The lockdowns have destroyed lives no doubt, but we need functioning hospitals. Had we not locked down, the mortality rate of the virus would have increased dramatically and we would’ve seen far more younger, fitter people dying because we wouldn’t have been able to treat people. Many people would have died from non fatal injuries and illnesses because they wouldn’t have been able to receive treatment. The fact that we left it so late before locking down the first and second time meant that we had to lock down and maintain restrictions for longer, our economy took the biggest hit on record and tens of thousands of people died needlessly. Lockdown was bullshit for a lot of people but it had to happen and I only wish that it had happened sooner.
@@ollies246 Well we need to thank the monsters who ‘govern’ this country for the mess we got in to. They acted far too slowly, because they are a bunch of incompetent, inbred, corrupt, and entitled arseholes! Mind you some of them have done very well financially out of this, along with their mates and families. But that’s okay, because that inbred, imbecilic twat Johnson is ‘doing it for Britain’ so all’s well!
No they aren't, those people aren't fans, the problem is, the English fans completely outnumbered the Danes, so you hear the few thousand booers over the 1 and a half Danish fans, if this match happened in Copenhagen, exactly the same thing would have happened, because the small minority of booers outnumber the away fans
Well. It's a huge Northern Irish Football chant. After all, we were using it five years ago, but you can borrow it this time around ;) Ironically, we adopted it way back in 2005 after we beat England.
