I am really surprised to read that Quebec did not get the sweet Cherries from the Okanagan Valley, even though, a lots of young Quebec youths comes during the Summer Months to Pick the Cherry, as a Summer job. B.C. Cherries goes all over the country , especially to Montreal. The Cherry Farmers must look seriously into this problem & make sure that Quebec got their faIr shares of B.C. Sweet Cherries.

I agree with you that many young Quebec youths from both genders are a great asset & contributers to the B.C. Cherry picking, I think Quebec & particularly Montreal area, recieves a lots of B.C. Cherries, they send B.C. Cherries, to 25 Countries as the CBC reporter said. and to all Canadian Provinces, mind you, one farm only, on this report, produces 1000 tons / year. I don't know how much percentage of BC Cherries goes to Quebec, but surley, they must increase the quantities if they ship out only a small quantity, because, without Quebec Pickers, most of the BC Cherries will remains on it's tree, because British Columbians are not willing to do such a job for that meager amount of monies that Quebec youths are being paid for that type of miserable work.

Been dodging the Walmart Washington state cherries until this week when I can finally get BC cherries in Ontario.

Supernatural cherries are in Uzbekistan. It is adored by most European countries, Russian Federation, China, Korea and other countries.

Hey CBC alittle wake up call...Whats the basics of facts ..who what where when ..but never the truth ...Fact 95 per cent of cherries are produced in BC...And are shipped everywhere but Canada ...We have American based Walmart and Costco Selling us rised prices of cherries from the states Why ?

Ok interesting how. We don’t get to enjoy Canadian cherries. Yet the whole world. Does. We get cherries from other countries but NOT OUR own. Ridiculous and insulting. You mean you can ship from China but not BC into Ontario 😦😦😦
