What a gift - to hear this version. Precious work of a songwriter balancing the personal with the professional...and Lou was professional to the core. This my friends, despite moi being with the VU since the Max's days, and many versions of Sweet Jane, is my fav version. Candy Says and many other aspects of emotional intelligence, are all wrapped up in this work in progress. Beatles did the same thing - etc etc etc. Hey Lou! God bless you buddy!
