Check out the other new track, 'You'll Never Be Alone' from Sweet & Lynch's upcoming album "Heart & Sacrifice" HERE: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YdOFMvWAXXE.html
I need to listen to this a few times before I decide I like the song. The guitar playing by lynch is incendiary and Mr sweet is.... I'm not sure yet. I love his look....but....
That reel you posted Insta about there being more sheep than people in NZ was hilarious and somewhat accurate, we in AU have several dirty jokes involving our cross the ditch neighbours and sheep😂
VOCALS! Is Michael Sweet the best remaining singer from the old days? Power, passion, range, his vocals on the recent Stryper albums, along with Iconic, Sunbomb, his solo work, here with Sweet & Lynch... just OUTSTANDING. Many other singers have been getting worse, but somehow Michael is excelling.
Micheal is certainly among the best, but Kip Winger, Robin McAuley, Rob Rock, and Graham Bonnet can still also sing on par with their younger selves. I also like Andy Kuntz a lot as his singing gets stronger with every release, and he is more or less the same age as Micheal. I like this track more than the first single. Lots of good albums to look forward to this year.
Admitted a talented singer. Just not My flavor. Too poppy. He can hot notes and has range. But I've never been able to feel any emotion from anything I've heard. Now I didn't like geddy early on. Took me some time. Maybe this is another one. But this song doesn't grab me. Hope others dig it. I'm just one person. Everyone enjoy what makes ya happy. And rock on.
George Lynch is the singular guitarist that inspired me to want to play guitar 39 years ago. Been playing the whole time. And Michael Sweet is still rock solid. Great effing song!
Hopefully Michael And George will still be playing way into their 70s and 8Os like the Stones! My Mom's friend is still living at age 102 and walks without a cane!😲👊🙏🎤🎸💿❤️
These Two need to get out on Tour . Europe and Australia would eat this Album up in a minute with Lined up Concerts to Follow . ❤☀⭐🌠⚡🌋🙈🙉🙊💘👄🔥💥😎😉😳😍🤠🤙🤘🤗🤑🙃🤔
According to insurance data & government record, most people die between 70 & 80. George appears healthy so hopefully he'll beat the odds. But to claim 68 ain't old is delusional. While we all want to have long lives and we see many examples of active old folks don't kid yourself, most of us will live to 70 but be dead before 80. Not me of course, I'm going to live to 107, not kidding either. Regarding politics, the death data is why the misanthropic GOP wants to raise the social security retirement age to 70. It's not about money, raise the cap, problem solved. But wanting people to work until they drop dead is SICK.
the song does have a bit of the classic Dokken feel to it and not hearing any under lock and key vibe. it reminds me a little bit of dysfunctional era.
imagine how many songs he knows on guitar? then imagine he can play them all, lick for lick, to perfection. amazing! how many different bands/projects is he on now?
@Dirk Digler You like everyone else are definitely allowed an opinion. That being said my opinion is the opposite. Maybe we're both wrong but who's to say what's right 💯🤟
@Dirk Digler Nope it like apples and oranges bro. Do I love his earlier dayz of course. But as he got older he just changed his style he changes all the time,I love it all.💯🤟 For instance the jam he did on headbangers ball bout 11 yrs ago. If you haven't seen it check it out. If you have seen it and say that's not just Badass then I don't know what to tell you. Another thing hell he's nearly 70 yrs old and can still play like a MF.
Lynch is god on guitar. Solo at 1:53 is pure Lynch at his best! What impresses me here is Sweet STILL sounding so damn strong vocally here after all these years. 💪
Oh yeah! This kicks @$$!!! A little more modernized version of the stuff we grew up with. And the stuff we like! Man I dig this. Very cool vibe. Great tone and well-constructed. Good tune!
Wow, that solo is a clinic in tone, phrasing and vibrato!! That bend and vibrato to finish George’s epic alternate picking chop at the 2:30 mark is signature George, absolutely uncopyable! This is peak George! I’ve listened to the solo like 8 times in a row now!
TBH, I don't like the song at all. there is something missing here. Not sure if the song was not completely written but the melody is tired. Not their best work but then again not every song can be a home run
Just watched and heard it for the first time! Loved it! Love Michael's screams in it and George's guitar playing is awesome! I have the first 2 Sweet Lynch CDs and listen to them all the time, besides Sunbomb, Michael Sweet's last couple of Solo CDs and Stryper,of course! Will definitely be buying Heart and Sacrifice too! 👂👂😲🤯😃👏👍🙌👋👊🎸🎤💿
