Bless the driver who stopped for an unscheduled toilet break for an elderly passenger.I myself experienced discomfort & pain in 1 instane on the bus.I had to control my painful bladder until luckily we stopped at a petrol station for gas.I don' know if I can control my bladfer any longer.
transtar solitaire is one of the few buses making toilet stops along the highway between kl and singapore alongside firstcoach and aeroline. so far, i take firstcoach bus between 1 utama and novena square twice and it makes a 20-minute stop for both toilet and meal in pagoh. i guess the rest of the singapore-bound buses from berjaya times square will make a brief stop at tbs before making their journey towards singapore.
Assalamualaikum. Bingkisan terbaik video terbaru Bas MAN Transtar Solitaire dari KL ke Kota Singapore. Ingat coach capten Al Saari. Lama tak terjah Jom Naik Bas ni. Terima kasih Ishak
Wow, I hope I can catch one of those MAN coaches (last time I took Transtar I got PC55L Euro 6, I actly took both gens of PC55Ls) Though on a side note, why is a 2022 coach still using a Euro III engine? Are emission regulations less strict in Malaysia?
❤ lovely detailed video. Can you anyone advise what was the integrated train testing thing due to open in 2023? Is there going to be somewhat direct train service between Singapore and KL? Thanks
Thanks for the video! Ive booked thr same Transtar Solitaire from Singapore to KL in October. May I ask were there any non-Singapore/Malaysian people on your bus? Ive heard horror stories about the border crossing taking longer for foreigners and getting left at the border to find onward transportation on your own, when rhe bus leaves early.
Hi there! On this trip, there were only Singaporeans and Malaysians onboard. But yes, passengers getting left behind by their bus is very common. Generally, drivers will give a grace period of about 15 mins, and in some rare cases slightly longer. Many of these cases happened when passengers are stuck at the immigration, mainly due to incomplete travel documentations and visa.
Hi, Jom, never been to KL, any recommendations hotels to stay, where the coach bus able to drop off upon arrival n pick up to depart. Any good recommendations to local street food, morning market, n what mode of public transport could take to, such as shopping mall, etc. Tks.
Hi there! To answer your first question, only Berjaya Times Square Hotel and Apartments can be accessed directly to the drop-off/pick-up point for Transtar Express services. There are other hotels served by other operators such as: - Swiss-Garden, Ancasa, Dorsett, Tribeca Suites, Capri by Frasers, Ritz-Carlton, Melia, Berjaya Times Square, Hilton, Le Meridien and Aloft Kuala Lumpur served by Cityline Travel. - Dorsett, Tribeca Suites, Capri by Frasers, Ritz-Carlton, Melia and Berjaya Times Square served by Luxury Coach Service. - Berjaya Times Square, Hilton, Le Meridien and Aloft Kuala Lumpur served by KKKL Travel and Express. - Corus Hotel served by Aeroline. Do note though that some of these hotels are located within favourable walking distance to the respective operators' designated drop-off/pick-up points. On to your second question, I'm afraid I'm not that well-verse to recommend such places to you. However, I would highly recommend KL Foodie on Facebook. They regularly showcases pretty good food joints in and around Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur is now better connected to the surrounding suburban areas with the full opening of the Putrajaya MRT Line, in addition to the existing Kajang MRT, Kelana Jaya LRT, Ampang and Sri Petaling LRT lines. Many of these stations are either directly connected to malls or are linked with bus services. Some of the malls that comes to mind are 1 Utama, MyTown, Pavilion Bukit Jalil and of course many others. Even Sunway Pyramid! Hope that helps. :)
I booked thru Transtartravel from internet for a Singapore to KL travel in July 2023. Coach never came. Land line and WhatsApp calls all not answer. Had to buy another company's ticket.
I'm not exposed that much to long-distance Yutong/King Long coaches, so I can't comment on these chassis. However, for the more mainstream models, I prefer the suspension of MAN and Volvo coaches, as compared to Scanias. I find the former to be more soft and reacts well to uneven and bumpy road surfaces.
Lovely Video. Why don't they have toilets on the coaches ? 5 hours is quite a distance Ok there was a toilet stop. In the UK we have National Express and most of their coaches have toilets
There used to be a toilet onboard many long-distance coaches in Malaysia. But poor maintenance and complains plus the availability of lay-bys along the highways led to their disappearance. But recently, there is an increasing number of operators choosing to fit their new coaches with toilets again.
@@jomnaikbas Thank you for your interesting reply. Myself being in my early sixties and diabetic type 2, I would be using the coach companies witch have a toilet pm board. Thank you for producing the video
Boss, is there a convenient toilet in working in order to pee especially bringing seniors... btw does double decker buses for long journey all have toilet 🚽?
Unfortunately, the only coaches with toilets on the Singapore routes are operated by Aeroline as of now. There are newly launched double-decker coaches with toilets but are serving routes to Kelantan from Kuala Lumpur, operated by Konsortium eMutiara.
🤣😆😂How can the nasi lemak rice there be better than the ones in Singapore where the latter has better quality ‼️🤦🏽 Or It was meant as a sarcasm likely. Oh well .. 🤪 Thanks for the share. Thankfully you made it safe & sound to Singapore 🫢 #staysafe❤
bukan nak kata org singapore tak pandai masak nasi Lemak tapi kalau sedap banyak di malaysia lah,,you corner ikut mana pun still malaysia the best nasi lemak,,
Hi. They are the same actually. All Solitaire coaches are of the Solitaire Suites type. The previous generation of Solitaire coaches have been retired.
Harga tiket berubah-ubah mengikut musim seperti cuti sekolah, cuti umum/pelepasan am dan sebagainya. Boleh rujuk di Easybook/BusOnlineTicket/redBus untuk kepastian mengenai harga tiket.
It has been that way since the first generation of these coaches were introduced more than 20 years ago. However, we understand that the next batch of coaches will come with toilets and is expected to be rolled out by the end of the year.
DO NOT BOOK TRANSTAR ...BE PREPARED TO BE ABANDONED. Dangerous and attempted to drove off with our heads still halfway in the coach luggage stow away. I need a negative star. A pair of young ladies and us had a longer clearance time. The bus almost left without them. And threatened to throw off one of their luggage. So I stood holding tight to the front door and the driver also threaten to abandon me and my young kid off the bus. If Transtar is a hospitality way of commuting to Singapore, and does not understand our culture of kindness. Please SEIZE YOUR BUSINESS. DON'T bother doing tours and leaving your customers behind. It's not the fare that matters, what if 4 of us women are stranded and have no one to turn to. What is Transtar doing for us?????? And a male driver threatening us to abandon us despite my young child and I pleading to wait for the pair.
