Alright, time to get into this episode's ranking of players! First off, I am so happy that COTD is back. Second, I loved the drama in this episode and I'm excited to see where things go from here. (Spoilers Ahead) Gameplay 10th: Tris, while I am so happy that she was saved by the betrayal because she is now 100% my favorite after this episode. That twist was all luck it was not gameplay. If this was a normal round Tris would have been eliminated. So based on what we have seen, Tris is last, in conspiracy theory, she is extremely high. (Because Kalani is the main producer of the show and the accusations towards him came out of nowhere. I suspect that he wanted to get eliminated so the gang flipped on him. Tris knew about this and jumped ship to save her own game. Since there were only 6 candles I think the people with Immunity were safe. He knows about the twist and plays the idol on Emma with Tris getting the votes on her so he can be an option. He and Emma vote Tris in so she can kill him, meaning this whole episode was scripted but Tris utilized it perfectly. It would also explain why Luke didn't take the elimination as seriously as Tris, and Tris focused on the advantage instead of points, neither of them was in danger.) 9th: Emma, is continuing to prove to make emotional game decisions. First, the Ashlyn vote, and now publically siding with Kalani. Instead of thinking through her decisions, she acts impulsively and ruins her relationships. 8th: Kalani, because of the betrayal twist, the correct idol play is actually the wrong idol play. If he plays the idol on himself, Tris & Emma go into the death challenge and are forced to come to a compromise on who to kill. The reason he's above Emma & Tris in this ranking is that Tris in normal circumstances would have died. Emma, like Peris, put herself in a bad position for Kalani when all of the evidence says "DON'T". 7th: Luke, he's low because he got voted in by Chance. But out of all the people who had a blatant flaw in their game. Luke had the biggest upside, won an elimination which improves his resume at the end, as well as an advantage. 6th: Abby, her, and Joanna are next because they lost a potential ally in Kalani by flipping. However, Abby is lower because she told Anne, that Kalani informed her about the suggested Abby vote last round. 5th: Joanna, already explained in Abby's section 4th: Chance, Emma becoming target #1 after Kalani's death is not the most ideal scenario for his game. But it isn't necessarily dragging him down since he has other relationships to keep him afloat for now. 3rd: Roman, didn't suffer any heat, won immunity, and is now good with both the Gang and Anne's Kingdom. As I said last episode, Roman could potentially start bouncing around alliances when needed to survive long-term and it's looking like that is going to happen. 2nd: Anne, while being able to work with the house pariah tends to be a good option it seems like for Anne it could be a weakness. I have faith that she will cut Emma when needed, I think she's still in a great position, but I didn't see her putting in the work to pull off the plan like in episodes 3 and 4. It felt like everyone immediately knew what the plan was and it was a major benefit to Anne since Kalani was onto her. 1st: Andrew, I NEVER EXPECTED FOR THIS TO HAPPEN, BUT IT DID! Andrew eating chocolate all by himself got pretty much everyone feeling bad for him. This is the same reason Abby voted to keep him over Ashlyn last round, she felt bad for him. Joanna said out loud, "I'm cool with Andrew now". While he may not bring a lot of entertainment to the show. I feel like his social game has started to get SHOCKINGLY good. Now, onto the Edit 10th: Emma, I mean when Tris clears you that hard, it's hard to say you're edit was a good one. 9th: Kalani, same thing with Emma, but at least he didn't choose that position, it chose him. 8th: Luke, because I was annoyed with how slow he was going in the challenge. If it wasn't for that he would be much higher. 7th: Chance, had one scene and one mention in the episode. 6th: Andrew, because I saw a massive turnaround in his game. But he lacks entertainment value which is why he isn't getting shown. 5th: Joanna, was surprisingly shown very little in this episode. I don't know why but it felt like she didn't have much involvement. 4th: Roman, very funny as usual, won immunity, but was not shown a lot after that. 3rd: Abby, I think I got a WAY better understanding of Abby this episode and appreciate what she brings to the show. She's there to have a good time, not take this seriously, and probably had her funniest moments in the whole series in this episode. I think she might now be in my A-Tier characters, good gameplay would bring her up to S-Tier. 2nd: Anne, I loved her drama with Emma and really need to see a full-on divorce arc between them now. 1st: Tris, entertainment, gameplay, found a clue to an idol, essentially everything we could ask for in a player in this episode.
Now that I've completed my episode ranking for the players. It is time for my overall ranking of players. Spoilers Ahead Starting off with our victim of the episode, we have... Kalani: 52 points out of 90, he had a 57 percent chance of winning this game. (While he had a rocky start to the season he was able to quickly form relationships to keep himself. Unfortunately, it came crashing down due to being suspicious for informing his allies of Anne's game, as well as previous votes, and lore involvement. In his last round of gameplay he had a great idol play which ended up only spelling his doom with Emma not being in the room to keep him safe.) Moving onto our current survivors, in last place/9th is... Andrew: 27 points out of 90, he has a 30 percent chance of winning this game. (In the first few episodes he wasn't targeted due to having a low threat level. In episode 3, he tried to steal immunity from Joanna and became public enemy number one. However, he was able to win elimination and has started to form relationships with nearly everyone in the game. The only downside is, his strategy is not an entertaining one in which he lets others lead conversations and so he has gotten nearly zero screen time.) In 8th place, we have... Abby: 15 points out of 38, she has a 39 percent chance of winning this game. (Coming into a game with Luke & Joanna in powerful positions was great for her, she made a questionable vote against Ashlyn over Andrew. However, this new episode did her wonders, scoring another advantage and bringing a lot of entertainment. But if she is to be targeted or lose Joanna & Luke, I am concerned that she will have no navigation plan.) In 7th place, we have... Chance: 36 points out of 90, he has a 40 percent chance of winning this game. (Largely thanks to Anne, he has been safe for the first 5 episodes. He also has not gotten a lot of screen time even though his sister is in this season. Very little success from his own doing, but also no glaring mistakes to put him in last, for now.) In 6th place, we have... Luke: 38 points out of 90, he has a 42 percent chance of winning this game. (He started out this season strong both socially and challenge performance. But when he got HOH in episode 4, he let the power go straight to his head. Showing that his biggest weakness is his ego which based on the edit I could see getting him eliminated. But he has an advantage and because of his challenge dominance, the outsiders might take a strike at his allies to gain numbers instead of him directly.) In 5th place, we have... Roman: 41 points out of 90, he has a 45 percent chance of winning this game. (Roman's first two episodes went horribly wrong, going into both eliminations and losing his closest ally in the process. But after that, everyone recognized the value in taking out other people's allies which has allowed him to form relationships with all alliances. He has shown agency in the strategy with his deal to vote for Andrew in episode 4, and he can win more than cornhole by winning immunity in this episode.) In 4th place, we have someone who is currently a true contender, we have... Emma: 42 points out of 90, she has a 46 percent chance of winning this game. (Like Luke, she did start off in a good position but has made emotional decisions rather than strategic ones. While I do understand her decisions she is taking a ton of damage socially because of them. However, I think her friendship and defending Kalani has scored her tons of screen time. Whether that screen time is received possibly by the viewer is based on several suggestive factors. So while I am personally not a fan of her, I can understand why others may enjoy her.) In 3rd/2nd place and still true contenders, we have a tie between... Joanna & Tris: 60 points out of 90, they have a 66 percent chance of winning this game. (These two have probably been the most aware players all season and constantly making the correct moves based on their position. I think they are the most likely final two at this point from a narrative and gameplay standpoint. But if they don't manage their threat level, their roads to victory will become extremely difficult.) Lastly, in 1st place and still the number one contender, we have... Anne: 71 points out of 90, she has a 78 percent chance of winning this game. (Allison's sidekick has become a full-on mastermind and honestly, is probably playing a better game than her mentor. She is so good with the Gang, mainly Abby, that she can target them, have them find out, and still trust her. She has managed to protect Andrew long enough for him to start improving his position by himself, and now just needs to focus on Chance's position and her threat level. If she can do that, then she'll be walking out the door to freedom. However, based on the edit, I am expecting her to overplay and have everything come crashing down. It is something I am hoping we don't see, but I am not going to be surprised if we do see it happen.) Thank you for reading this everyone, and I hope you have a great week.✌
@@planejanestan After watching each episode I do a ranking of everyone's gameplay and their edit. If they are last in a ranking they get zero points, above one person they get one point and so on. Since Abby came in late she had fewer points available to her which is why I base it off percentages.
Re-analyzing what happened in the mid-season trailer it seems like most of the clips were used from this upcoming episode. I believe that Tris may die this episode as it seems like things are starting to turn against her. She seems to be getting very emotional and that may be because others are turning against her. She seems to be whispering to Joana about something, but who knows how much she is listening. I think its odd she isn't whispering to Emma, could their relationship break? It seemed like last episode we were seeing cracks in this relationship so who knows. I think if Tris is gonna flip over to be closer to Joana then I think her gameplay will become more messy as she starts to unravel. Its also important to note her hair is tied up, and I think thats because she is trying to stay focused. I think she will try to pin things on Roman or Emma, but I think that will go against her and the two will come to an agreement of some sort. I do think the main targets will be Luke, Tris, and maybe Roman? I could see Roman getting voted in and if this episode is revenge themed then I think Tris may die due to a betrayal. Like Roman may be voted in and lose but the loser picks who dies or something like that. Some people think Roman may die but Kalani seems to be after someone and his words seem like its someone he was working with. Combined with what I mentioned of Tris and Emmas relationship breaking, and flipping to be super buddy buddy with Joana and her crew, maybe Kalani is suspicious of her for that? I dunno but based on last episode Tris was getting more paranoid and I think this is leading to a bit more messy gameplay. I think she is entertaining but I think its time for her to go.
Kalani is def getting rev because their is a line where he says ur going to backstab every person who tries to help u and he never said that in this ep
This was a very good episode, and the drama was on top this is the best episode yet. ALSO I don't think tris can be trusted because everyone saw she was a snake by ratting kalani and Emma out and plus tris was suppose to die but didn't. So I think Tris is for sure going next.
Spoilers … Kinda pissed my least favourite was gonna die but then one of my faves died Tris Your not Jackie stop trying to be her Roman Ate I was just afraid Tris was going to go in the challenge and kill Roman I’m only hating on Tris due to her being shocked getting voted I mean no shit the people you ratted out are going to vote you no hate To Tris I’m just commenting on her acting and character
