This is a brand new tune composed 27th February 2021 by Organist and choir master Trevor Orme, a much respected member of the Beauty In Sound RU-vid channel. I think the words by William Shirley "Sweet The Moments Rich In Blessing" fit the tune beautifully. All constructive comments will be taken onboard, pointless dislikes will be ignored. I would like to thank Trevor Orme for composing this tune and for allowing me to record and upload it.

I'm very sad to announce that Trevor Orme passed away 8th June 2022 after long illness. His beautiful music will live on! Rest in Peace Trevor and thanks for your influence in my organ playing.

@@Goodchappy I don’t think the addition of 32’ is ever overkill for a last verse. When I played at St. Paul’s (Sketty😂) I often used it. I also where possible use the lower notes on the pedalboard to get more depth.

@@Goodchappy Just a little advice... If you're gonna use the 32 foot stop, dont just use it for a couple chords, use it for the entire last verse. What I've noticed is the 32 ft stop only comes in on the last couple chords at the end of the ast verse. Use it for the entire verse if you can. Otherwise good performance.

@@ebestephen This recording in particular was made in quite a hurry, I only heard the tune and saw the music 8 hours ago and wanted to be one of the first to upload to RU-vid. I also only have a mobile phone to do videos and no tripod, however I hope some time this year to get a camera or at least a tripod so I can produce a proper video :-)

Thank you. I may record on Salisbury or another large organ but I prefer smaller, more direct organs in lesser acoustics. 🙂

Absolutely lovely. I thought is this a hymn tune I've missed - I thought I knew every one ever written but it's new in traditional hymn tune style. What a great change from all the awful non tunes we have to sit thru today!

Thank you Julie. I agree, I despair when I hear the tuneless, harmony devoid noise of most modern "worship songs". I actually either turn it off or walk out of the room till it's finished. This new tune may remind us of other tunes but I'd rather hear it non stop all day than most of the modern tunes.
